We are getting a new kitchen placed in and opening a wall between the dinning room and living room. Although I knew the look and feel I wanted, I desperately needed help putting it together and as such reached out to Nanette.I love the coastal/beach house type of look but was getting absolutely overwhelmed with all the choices out there. Nanette was able to read what it was I loved and gratefully steered me back in that direction. She made some fantastic recommendations for the remaining kitchen space such bricking in a door to push back the kitchen and install a glass door in place of a window in the dinning room for access to the backyard. This would give the kitchen more light and me more kitchen/cabinet space. She had fantastic advise for lighting as well as colours. I am very happy with all her recommendations and we are now getting quotes for all of them and cant believe how we missed some of them living in our home for so long ! I may still need some of her help as the project unfolds. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Nanette.

This is our second time to use Nanique consultancy service and we are impressed again. She is very talented at color selection and she is very effective. We used Nanique two years ago when the house was still under major renovation, she skillfully used her expert imagination and made recommendations on the wall color for the entire house. We got so many compliments on the color from our friends and guests. This time we are trying to make the house look better, we have a lot photos/pictures, some old antique furniture. We have simply no idea how to put all these together. During a two and a half hour consultation, Ninique went through all "what we have", she quickly made the recommendation for the pictures/frames on which wall and where; she also made the recommendation on the living room setting, color, fabric etc in detail.
What sets Nanique apart from some average designers (some my friends used) is that she makes things work. She helps you get the best result for what you have. Well what can I say about Nanique Interiors ... my experience with Nanette and her team of experts has been nothing but positive. I called her a couple of years ago for my bathroom reno and was so satisfied with Nanette and her work ethic and genuine care about her clients that I called her again for exteior project of my home. Once again she was on time, professional interested in what your needs are and left you with a comprehensive list of trades people, colour samples, names, numbers, ....She is the real deal. After a month she just checked in with me to see how things were going which she did't need to do. We recently moved to a smaller home, 100 years old, with all the charm that we loved, but which makes furniture placement a challenge. Nanette came in and in two hours has inspired me. She was so professional, but warm. She asked how we used the space, and made her recommendations based on that. She also followed up the next day with contacts for some of the products that I am going to use. I will be calling Nanette again after I've got the construction phase done to assist me in the purchase of the furniture and window coverings. In the meantime, she left me with many ideas that I will implement immediately so I too can say "I love coming home".

I needed some help with my living and dining room area. We'd lived in our home for 15 years but never knew how to arrange our furniture around an awkwardly-placed fireplace, or how to properly light the room. Nanette simply moved a few pieces around and the room was transformed! I couldn't believe this particular arrangement had never occurred to me, but I just don't have "the eye". Nanette suggested we purchase a couple of new pieces, but they are things we can add over time, and according to our own budget - she mentioned both high and low end stores.
