Maple Drywall

My GC hired Maple Drywall to do all of the drywall in my new home. They were more than halfway complete when I fired my GC. Maple said the GC had not paid them anything. I offered to personally pay Maple Drywall in full what they were owed up to that point and then the rest when they completed the job. They refused to finish the job. Then Maple Drywall put a lien on my house and filed a lawsuit against me. Oh, I also had to have much of their work redone, and their workers were extremely unprofessional on several occasions.
Does this sound a like a company you want to work with?

They did our smooth ceilings which in almost every place showed the seams very badly. At two places the ceiling was almost bulging and at the remaining part almost all the seams were visible that gave a wavy look. Everybody who came to our house advised us to get this fixed. We noticed the big wavy bulge in bedroom first and thats when we reported the problem but later as we found at other places we told them when they came to fix the bedroom. The guy was so rude and said that's the way it is and you can never have smooth ceilings and you gonna see the seams no matter what we do and tried to push it until next year. But we insisted that we want to get it fixed now. We put green tape on all the ceilings to show him and took pictures even then he was very reluctant. Now we are expecting to have another appointment to get it fixed. Lets see how that goes
