The overall window replacement was on time and as quoted. We had a bit of a battle replacing two windows for a sliding door. Homeworks said it wouldn't be a problem and they didn't need permits to do this. We checked with the city and were told we needed a permit. Homeworks tried to tell us we had to pay for all the additional paperwork despite the fine print in their contract saying they were responsible for permits. We pushed them and they kept their contract but it was a hassle.

There were cheaper options available, but all would have involved me becoming a General Contractor. Homeworks handled all the supply and crew scheduling. 12+ workers arrived on time at 9:00AM and were finished by 4:00PM. Two window screens were torn during installation, getting them replaced required a couple phone calls, but in the end they were delivered to me at my office. Overall, a completley painless experience, especially considering the amount of work that was done.

Financing through gov funded "homeworks" contractor good, quick efficient... all the work was done in about 3 days. Friendly guys, willing to explain as they worked, nice to the kids. Dealt mostly with salesperson Mark, liked the owner better though. Some time lag in contacting them since they're not in the same town as us, though I understand they have a local rep now. We're very happy with our new windows, made a big difference in the warmth of our home. Follow up was good, the new local rep came by and realized that the furnace guy hadn't finished a bit of drywalling, so he grabbed his tools and finished it himself, right there on the spot.
