We were pleased with the first team of workers John sent to complete painting and plastering in our older home and agreed to do more work in another area based on how happy we were with their work. We were less pleased with work done in our study and powder room. We only learned that John would send a different team (which turned out to be only one person) on the day the work was started. We told John in advance that some work had to be done to repair a leaky gasket in the toilet but he assured us that the person doing the painting and wallpapering would fix the toilet at the same time. The worker did most of the painting required but only touched up the trim in the study. He had trouble with the wallpaper and could not make the necessary repairs to the gasket. We informed John that the toilet was still leaking and he assured us he would send someone in the next few days to make repairs. Six months later the toilet is still leaking and repeated calls and messages to the company have been ignored. We waited patiently over the long harsh winter to hear from John and were sorry that we paid for everything in full and believed his assurances that he would send someone to resolve this issue. Based on this lack of follow up and issues with the second worker who was rushed by John to complete work he was obviously not qualified to do (plumbing), we cannot give this company a high score for communication, timeliness and quality of work.
