Gem Windows and Doors

I have all the windows in in the upstairs of my house replaced and they look great! They have beautiful beveled glass, and the mechanism for opening them is wonderful and they make every room look better.

My old windows made the rooms seem smaller and weren't well made thus weren't well insulated for keeping the cold out in the winter and warm in.
The men who came in to put the windows were fast and efficient. They were all changed before i knew it.
My only complaint would be that i wish they had told me that after they were done with the windows I had there would be divots left in the inner frames. They are easy enough to fix, but next time i might have paid a little more to have them do that while they were there.
over all, love the product and there service was great!

Gem replaced all our windows in 2002. After a break-in we called them back and they were able to replace the window without even a visit. We also noticed one other window had streaks in inside the thermopane and it was also replaced ...no problem. The lead time quoted was accurate and installation went without a problem. They even adjusted another window that was sticking a little when openning.

I had all of the windows in my home replaced and installed in the first week of May 2012. I was very impressed with the curtious and timely service that I received. All work fell within the original estimate that I was given; there were no surprise charges. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needed similar work done on their home.

GEM provided the best quote on new aluminum windows. Every step of the process from my initial call, meeting with the estimator and finally the installation, was done with a high level of service and trust. This is the second time I have used GEM for window replacement and I have been highly satisfied with the quality of their product as well as the high level of customer service provided.

Last week I had a door latch that needed to be replaced.
I spoke with Jim and he located a perfect replacement from his supplier.
All within a reasonable time-frame.
I certainly recommend them for doors and locks / latches.

My new front door is fabulous. The selection at Gem is second to none. The service people had it installed in no time flat. I'm also very please with the matching hall window and the new bathroom window. Makes a world of difference in the overall look of the house.

We recently had 9 of our windows replaced by GEM Windows and Doors. We had several quotes but Spiros from GEM impressed us by working with us to understand our needs and make valuable suggestions. We choose GEM because of their product knowledge, their service and their obvious commitment to build customer relationships. Their showroom helped us visualize how the product would suit our home. Installation went very well exactly as promised with Walter and his crew treating us and our home with respect. They did a great job with installation and attention to details followed by a good clean up. We highly recommend their service.

I wanted to replace my front door because it looks very old and it was just not appealing . I asked these guys to show me some ideas and got them to replace my door. The whole job took a day, I don’t want to be without a door for any longer than that. I was happy overall, nothing to complaint about. I have a modern looking new door now.

DO NOT USE GEM WINDOWS & DOORS.

That is unless you want to deal with rude associates, erroneous orders and THE WORST customer service in the industry. As an Interior Design I beg you to please avoid using GEM and seek out another supplier. There are many available whom are more than happy to make sure you are taken care of properly, considerately and promptly.
