Decision to replace widows was made very easy with knowledgeable sales staff (Tas) assisting us with styles, features and timelines. Once expertly measured, the installation followed as agreed and the crew responsible (Joe and Mickie) worked carefully and meticulously to transform the look and feel, in each of the rooms.

Gem Windows assisted our family in choosing a style of front door that was complimentary to our home. It was installed with courtesy and efficiency at an affordable price. We love our door.

We had 2 sets of old wooden and aluminium windows and one old wooden not - too- secure door replaced as they were damaged and were not energy efficient. We shopped around and there was almost a $4000.xx difference between Gem and the competitor that we were considering. For the same service, plus one added, no cost, bonus, we got the same material at a great saving. We booked in October 2016 and had the work done today, 01 February, 2017, as scheduled. The 2 man team arrived 30 minutes early. They were neat, quick and quiet, taking away all the old windows and door. The only issue was the temporary cold, but Mother Nature rules. In just under 5 hours, they were done. They were professional, courteous and friendly. Thank you Gem W & D's.

We had almost original wood windows. Most were painted shut but still drafty. We contacted a few companies for Quotes and decided to go with Gem. We spoke with Spiros and he was knowledgeable and experienced with retrofit windows and doors. The windows took a couple weeks longer than promised but we weren't in a huge hurry. The installation guys were amazing! They were on time and amazingly quick and tidy. We had all the windows installed in a day and a half and the door about a month later. We were worried with a hundred year old house that it would uncover hidden problems but were pleasantly surprised it went smoothly. We would be happy to use them again.

I wanted to replace my basement door and two windows so I called Gem. This is the third job that they have done for me. The door was quite challenging as it was at the bottom of a stairwell and needed to be custom made. The first company who looked at it didn't want to attempt the difficult project. Gem sent a man to measure the space and then I received a call from the owner of the company. He explained that the technician didn't think it could be done but after talking it through with the owner, they came up with a plan that would work. Unfortunately, there were problems with the first factory construction of the door. It had to be scrapped and reconstructed. After an extended period, the door was ready and was easily installed along with the window.

From helping me select the window style in my price point to the professional installation, GEM provided amazing service all fronts.
The new windows have integrated beautifully into the styling of my older home. Very pleased and look forward to my next project with GEM Windows and Doors.

The Customer Service and professionalism extended then was Perfect and we knew at that point that we would always deal with the Professionals at Gem. Well recently we made another purchase and from the minute we walked through the showroom door to our installations we were very pleased. The sales team are so knowledgeable about their product and the installers are so experienced and very importantly, very clean and tidy and respectful of our home. We recommend Gem to everyone !! Nice showroom so you can weigh the options and get a good idea of the quality you are paying for. Timeline for delivery was close to what was promised and installers were prompt, pleasant and efficient. Windows look great, especially our new front bay window.

I am very happy with my windows and doors, except for little problem regarding the screens that did not fit properly in the living room windows. The guy from GEM had been real determined to get them properly fitted...he would not give up...not at all. Yes to the screens fitting great. If I ever move to another house, you can bet that I'd get GEM Windows & Doors to replace the windows & doors. It was my friend who lives in Brampton, did recommend GEM to me.
