Plumbing valves and fixture installation
We hired expressrooter to install a new fixture in our claw foot tub. This is not a typical installation, so we hired a plumber.
Rob from express rooter came on a sunday (we work full time during the week). Since there were no shut offs at the tub, we had to turn off the master water valve in our basement. Turns out that it was completely seized in the open position. Hence we had to get the city to come turn off the master valve on the street - UUGH. We talked with Rob and John (also of ExpressRooter) and they helped us to understand the procedure with the city - and were very accommodating. On Monday the city water was shut off - Rob came back and did all the installations, including a new master shut off valve in the basement. He even came back the next day when we detected a leak (in the fixture, not his work).
Overall, although plumbing scares us, we found the process with ExpressRooter, Rob - the plumber, and John - the office coordinator, to be very helpful, patient, attentive, and most importantly got the job done. Rob has a high standard for doing the job right. He made sure the work zone was clean and tidy afterwards and even polished up the fixture. Not only did Rob do a great job technically, he showed pride in his work and was very attentive to detail and esthetics.
Thanks ExpressRooter - we'll recommend you anytime.
