I got these windows for a commercial property. The rooms face a busy street and the windows cut the noise significantly.
The soundproofing is very good. However we had an issue with the windows. After a year of use, the tenant found the windows would not prop up. I reported the issue and the window hooks were replaced. Mike the owner was personally involved in getting this fixed.

$4,000.00

We are continuously striving to better our products and service. The props that were used on the initial installation were our old model. we found that over time those hooks and springs would start to erode the inner chamber of the prop. We have since updated the product and believe you will have a much stronger and effective product going well into the future.

I own an income property. Encore installed four sliding noise proof windows. Within a year the lever that holds up the windows collapsed for all the installations. The windows would not stay up.

It could have been a horrific issue if the sliding window failed while my tenant's cat was sitting in there. I called Dave at Encore. He came by and told me the windows were too heavy for their installation. He did some adjustments I think by bending the little aluminum hooks on the sides so the windows stay up. But he also told me that the windows are too heavy. He asked me to get four sticks to hold up the windows just in case this failed again.

The backstory is that while the glass is high quality and comes from the states the window frame is custom made in Ontario. It is cheap construction and can fail on you. I would have expected better for the $4K I spent.

I would not recommend this company. Their product is poorly made and does not stand the test of time.
