Emerald Moving

This is the second time I've used Emerald moving. They are punctual and trustworthy--two things that are rare in the moving business. After getting fleeced in other moves, Emerald was very professional and took care of all my possessions. I could recommend them to a student doing their first move or a friend living on the bridal path. You get honest quotes and honest people... And no, my Mother doesn't own the company! ha

After hearing horror stories from friends about problems with moving companies, I decided to do some online research before hiring anyone. Emerald Moving had exceptional reviews online, and after using their services I can see why. The movers were on time, efficient, very friendly and took the time to carefully wrap and protect all of my furniture before putting it into the truck. The estimate cost I received in advance was accurate with the final cost and the staff was very quick at answering any questions I had leading up to the move.

Everything was booked and arranged by telephone,email and online. Communications were excellent. No commitments were missed. Cost estimate was calculated using Emerald worksheet, then discussed by telephone with a pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable representative. Movers arrived on time; worked with minimal breaks; communicated well; completed the job efficiently. There was no loss or damage. No surprises with the final bill. Cost was slightly less than the estimate. Lead man was a professional who took pride in his work and was equally proud of his company. Other two men were hard-working and pleasant. They all worked well as a team. In summary, everything went more smoothly than could be imagined and I don't have a single complaint.

Emerald was recommended by a friend and I used them for my last move from an apartment into a house. When we bought in Riverdale, we of course called Emerald to move us.

They are great guys, very professional, decent prices. And they guys they use are career movers - 2 of the 3 guys that moved us into our new house were the same guys that had moved us into our apartment 3 years previously.

I used Emerald on two separate moves this summer into a house, one from my condo and the other from a storage unit. I found them to be the most professional movers I have used to date. Both moves were nearly seamless with excellent service. I used a less expensive mover once earlier in the year and suffered with poor service, unprepared movers, and hidden fees. Not the case with Emerald. I have recommended them to others.
