Most plumbing problems are bad news and when you have one on Christmas Eve, it’s doubly bad, but Drain Rescue came through when it counted. Honestly, they weren’t my first call. I was going through a desperate google search of plumbers and getting nothing but answering machines and no callbacks. At Drain Rescue though, a live person answered immediately and promised a service guy would contact me within an hour. The service guy (Chris) was on time, thoroughly professional in discussing the problem, my options, and the costs. When it turned out to be a bigger job and I was worried it might have to wait until after xmas, Chris didn’t hesitate to run to Home Depot for the necessary parts and finished the job same day. Chris also patiently answered all my questions, even beyond my immediate problem, so I could better understand the mess of pipes in my old house. Plumbing problems always suck and can be costly, but I’m very satisfied that I ended up with Drain Rescue.

Roots had infiltrated our basement drain. The company analysed, dug up and replaced the faulty section of pipe. All work was done quickly and neatly. We were pleased with the job.

I needed a sump pump & battery back up on Dec 22/ Sunday 5.00 pm!

The plumber came on short notice after hours and identified the source of the leak from my ceiling. He replaced the damaged line and made his recommendations to avoid future problems. For a separate inssue for my washroom another plumber was in providing me with a second option that saved me thousands of dollars as I was misquoted originally by a set of dishonest plumbers.

As a property manager, I need to have trustworthy contractors to perform the construction work in the townhouse condos I manage. I recently started using Drain Rescue for sewer back-ups and their response time has been fantastic. They take the time to explain the problem, the cost involved and even follow-up with you to make sure you are satisfied with the work done by the crew.
We had a big problem in a main sewer line which effected 5 homes and this required sanitary line replacement - huge job due to excavation inside and out! Crew was punctual, left the job site secure (project took 2 days to complete) and all was neat and tidy when done! Very impressed and happy to have a company I can rely on to provide prompt, professional service to the residents! Reasonable prices for emergency service.

Work was fast and good! Only complaint is the price- seemed really high for the work done and even though the plumber knew immediately what the cost was, they didn’t give me the quote when I called the problem in.

my sink was leaking and they came in 2 hours and fixed it in about a half an hour - just thought the price was high for what they did but good service- the person who came was professional and gave us tips and they all came very quickly but it was just so expensive for him putting a snake down the sink.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They are nothing that they claim to be except fast......fast to take your money. They are over-priced and do not stand behind their work. Sold me a toilet that never worked properly that I didn't need because the leak was caused from a pipe. When I tried to get a new and better toilet from them, all they did was argue. I ended up having to go to another company to replace the toilet. The plumber from the other company said he had heard a lot of complaints about Drain Rescue. He also said they had sold me a bad toilet. Don't believe what they wrote in their response. I haven't had any problems with the new toilet I got from a different company. Drain rescues never offered to fix the problem - they are just argumentative and defensive as you can see from their response. The reason I did not call sooner about the toilet they installed was because I was away. When I cam back we had to plunge the toilet every day. Don't miss the part when you read my review that I did not need a new toilet in the first place.

Called Drain Rescue Plumbers regarding sewage backing up into my basement floor drain. A Technician called me back within minutes stating he would be at my my home within the hour. The Technician showed up at my door about 30 minutes later and scoped the drain. Turns out my old clay pipes had had a temporary blockage but were otherwise in good shape. The Technician gave me advice on what to do should this happen again. I was very pleased with the fast and professional service I received.
