Derek’s crew were able to work around phone wires Bell strung through my Ash trees 30 feet up. Large branches were removed with surgical precision and cleanup was excellent. Yard will be much brighter this summer!

We contacted Derek's Tree Service earlier in the week for an estimate appointment. Derek came out to the appointment on time. We walked through what we wanted to have done to the yard and he provided some suggestions. We received an estimate from him on the spot. He came back the next morning with his crew to complete the work. The work and clean-up were done with no issues, great job. It was a great experience working with Derek to get the work completed. Thank you. I would definitely recommend Derek to friends and family or call him back if I needed more work on the trees in the future.

We had one tree removed and two large trees limbed, as they were damaging our roof and chimney. Derek also raised the canopy and sculpted a large maple tree by our pool. The work was very professionally done. Derek and crew were very polite and knowledgeable. They worked quickly and efficiently, and all debris was removed and the area cleaned. A polite, courteous six man crew showed up to trim and limb a large ash tree which was beating my chimney down and hanging well over my neighboiur's yard. The tree was limbed and all refuse picked up in short order.

After shopping for a reliable company to remove a very tall spruce that suddenly died, I've selected Derek's from the excellent comments I've read. And his quote including the stump grinding was the cheapest I received. Some of his competitors were asking 2.5 times more i.e. $500 without the stump grinding! A rip-off!
Derek's and his crew showed up as per the agreed day and time. They cut the tree, chopped it in logs for my firepit, cleaned the cut branches and various debris and in ½ hour, they were gone.
I couldn't have expected for a better service.
One of my close neighbour to whom I was related my experience and quality of service I received already mentionned that he will surely hired Derek for relocating a few trees in his backyard.

Efficient, good job was done. Arrived on time, and got down to business, clean up was good and he did a little extra like blew out my eve trough on my shed. All this in an hour. These guys were moving.

Derek Begley tree service did an excellent job with our trees today. We had a dying juniper in the backyard which was removed and the stump ground out. Derek also pruned a lot of deadwood out of our locust tree. Thirdly, another healthy tree in our backyard received a neatening-up since it was overgrowing too much into the adjacent property. Each job was expertly and neatly done (single visit). Derek was prompt to return phone calls and set up the job, and came out within a few days to complete it. Cleanup was very good-- just a few twigs on the lawn (had the grass not been so long I'm sure they would have found them all) and of course the bare dirt where the juniper was. We have a small property and that's our entire inventory of trees, but if we need tree service in the future, we will call Derek again.

I had three 15-20 foot evergreens and one started to fall over. Derek took down all three, and a bush next to them - ground out the stumps and took them away - AND took out another bush in my back yard for me - AND trimmed large dead branches out of a japanese red maple - all for an amazing price! I highly recommend him.
