I had three Red Cedars trees removed all over 25 -30 feet. Estimate one day, trees and stumps removed the next and one other tree trimmed. Very professional and friendly, Arrived when they said they would and did a great job with a marvellous clean up as well. Would not hesitate to have them back! Good value for money!

We've used Derek for years for all our tree maintenace. Always prompt and does a fine job. He recently removed a dead tree and stump from our front yard in the dead of winter! Our neighbours have

A First rate job done in removing a large tree which had grown too big and causing concerns for safety and damage to a house at the bottom of the garden also many branches had been falling down in the high winds.Job dome in a timely manner and clean up good.

I spent a lot of time looking for someone to cut down my Ash tree and grind the stump that was attacked by the Emerald Ash Borer. Many said they would give us and estimate and break appointments over and over again without so much as a call (one of them even got favourable ratings on this site but were too busy to do the work I guess). Others were so over priced they must have thought they hit the lottery when they arrived in Oakville.

Derek's estimate was very reasonable. He showed up when he said he would for the estimate. He showed up on time to cut down the tree. He did some additional no charge items such as trim another tree for us and grind down another small stump for us. He cleaned up the yard and even took away some trimmings I hadn't got a chance to clean up. He called the same night to follow up to make sure we were satisfied. Don't waste your time with the rest when you can have the best.

Derek and his crew trimmed a large tree in my yard that looked like it had never been trimmed before. They also trimmed a few other smaller trees as well. They were great and a pleasure to deal with. Best of all they were neat and tidy! This was my first tree trimming experience. I was able to get a quote on a Sunday morning and work was done in a week to accommodate my work schedule. I would highly recommend these guys.

My pine caught blight. I cut the infected part but the tree became top heavy. Called Derek's from homestars' recommendation rating. I got a quote that was extremely reasonable. Agreed to the work for the following week. They walked me through everything I had to do such as notifying the town etc...
The day I the work got done, I was away. When I came back, the only way to know they had come was the tree was now gone. They cleaned up so well you wouldn't know what just happened. Nice people doing great work!

After having given me a very reasonable quote, Derek and his crew set to work dilligently and carefully to remove a very large Ash tree of about seventy feet, situated about ten feet from my pool and house.
The work was done very neatly,in record time, with not a speck of damage, despite the difficult circumstances.

Derek provided a quote that was half the price of all other quotes received. They were efficient and did a fantastic job pruning the trees and were meticulous with the clean up in our yard and our neighbours. Glad we found them, we are thrilled he is local and would highly recommend his company for any tree services you may require. He followed up with a phone call to ensure that we were satisfied, outstanding customer service, what an absolutely wonderful experience. Just need to see if we can find a car mechanic with similar standards!!

Derek and his crew showed up promptly as promised and quickly began the job of topping the trees as previously discussed. I had used Derek's service earlier this year to remove two other trees from our yard and Derek then provided an initial estimate for topping the remaining two trees. Derek was very professional in that he performed the work as promised and stuck to the initial quote he had provided back in the spring. He even offered to cut up the larger pieces into firewood for our neighbour as he had done back in the spring. Upon competing the job the crew thoroughly raked and cleaned all the remaining debris from the patio and yard. I would definitely use Derek's services again and not hesitate to recommend Derek and his crew to others.

We first contacted Derek's Tree Service at the recommendation of a friend. We had several mature trees on the property of our current home that we had purchased several years ago. Over the years we have always contacted Derek for pruning or tree removal. He is always on time and his team are great. On time, clean and very reasonable.
