I had David Snell install some windows in my home a few years ago, so I decided to call him again recently as I was ready to change the windows in the back of my home, including a large two-story window. It was the best decision I could have made. The windows arrived in the time-frame David originally gave me. The guys who came to install the windows were polite and professional, and cleaned up after themselves. To top it all off, my new windows look beautiful and I believe the price was fair based on other estimates I had gotten. David also gave me a follow-up call to ensure that I was satisfied with the work that had been done. I would definitely reccomend David Snell to anyone who is looking to get new windows and doors.

Out of all the renovations we've booked in our home, this was by far the best company we've ever dealt with! They showed up on time, did exactly what they said they would, provided quality materials and cleaned up after! Couldn't recommend them more highly! We've called them back now to do our garage door & shutters! Price and quality was so good there's no need to get multiple quotes this time!

When we were faced with the decision to replace our windows, there were many companies to choose from. After receiving 3 other quotes , my wife and I chose David Snell because he was very thorough in explaining the options and styles available to us and his pricing was very competitive. We can’t say enough about the quality of workmanship throughout the process. When the crew finished at the end of each day, you would never know they were there. They took the time to vacuum the floors around every window and pick up any debris on the ground.
We have noticed a significant improvement in the comfort of our home and energy bill.
We have received numerous compliments from people walking by our house on the style of our windows and they always ask who installed them. We tell them we highly recommend that they call David Snell first.
After seeing the completed job and based on our recommendation many of our neighbours have also purchased from David Snell.

Dave Snell , came out to my home and give me quote for putting in
a patio door.He was very reasonable. we had him put patio door in.I was extremely please with the work that was done.A few months later I need a new side door, called Dave again, Door was put in within a week. Did a great job. and last just had him install new eaves troughs . was in within the week. great job done. I was
very pleased with Dave and the jobs that were done. I would highly recommend him.

We have had lots of work done and I have no complaint about most of it (windows, garage door, etc). The biggest problem is he does not return phone calls. I have called 5 times and been promised twice that he would fix a leak and that was 4 weeks ago. When you phone it sounds like you are calling an organization. Not so. No one is ever there - always leave a message but don't expect a return call unless you want new work done. Id be happy to give him 5 stars if he had any kind of followup service.

I have delt with this company and David since 1990 or more and they did work at our home...Excellent workmanship. In and out and nothing left behind and this was the early years. Replaced 21 windows in a heritage home and it looks beautiful and quality of work excellent and timing perfect. thank you David and his team.....

We dealt with them twice. The first time we had them replace most of the windows on our ground floor and had no issues. The trim installation was a bit sloppy, but okay, at least they used wood instead of mdf and I replaced and fixed anything I didn't really like. The windows have been in place for a couple of years without issue. The second time we had them quote and order some replacement panes for our front windows. After placing the order, I waited a couple of months before calling them to get an update and was told the material was on order. I contacted my sales person Pieter as well as the office and was told the material was on order. After a couple of more months I gave up and got another company to install new windows. After more than six months after I placed the order they called me to tell me the glass was in. That's when I cancelled my order and told them I replaced the windows because they took to long to get the material and they never followed-up with me for six months. Overall, I would not use this company again.
Update 23-Feb-2015: the company just responded to this review today, almost 2 years after it was posted. Ironically this mirrors their service response time when I dealt with them. Anyway, I'm sorry to read that they did not take responsibility for their poor service and instead decided to write something that does not resemble what actually happened.

I highly recommend David D. Snell Building Services Ltd located in Mississauga, Ontario. We purchased our eavestrough, soffit and fascia through them and are very satisfied with the product used and installation process. There was no mess left for us to clean up and it looked terrific. When we decided it was finally time to replace our garage door, it only made sense to call them. Our sales representative, Pieter, came out to our home to go over the brochures with us, ask about our requirements and take some measurements. He was very thorough and professional. We had problems with contractors in the past so it was even more appreciated that we had no worries with this company. The person that came out to install the door was on time and obviously well trained and experienced in his job. We love the new door, which is now a nice reflection of, and addition to, our home. Since the installation of the door, we had a bit of a problem, caused by our own misuse, and the service I received was commendable. We did some comparison shopping first to give us some idea of the cost of all these products and they were comparable to most quotes. Although a couple of quotes came in a little lower, I did not feel comfortable with the person I was speaking with and thought about our bad experiences in the past. I would not hesitate to call on them again if the need arises for any upgrading or replacing of aging products that we may require in the future. I trust them so would be confident in recommending them to family and friends.

When we decided to get vinyl siding for the entire house, we didn't know that one entire wall was badly damaged due to water leaking from a window that was installed years before we moved into the house. David Snell and his employees quickly rebuilt the wall before installing the rest of the vinyl siding. This was done at a reasonable rate (supplies and labour only) so that the job could be done right and without worry. Several years later, we noticed water leaking from one of the windows again and although it took some time for David Snell to get back to us, he did finally come to check it out and we are now waiting for someone to come to figure out/fix the window situation.
