Doesn't stand behind his work

We have used David Snell twice to install windows and doors for us. The first time the window installation and quality was okay, but the door installations - front door and fire safety door to the garage never operated the way they were supposed to. We used him a second time for windows only. The windows were supposed to be the same as the first job, but the finishing was poor on several of the windows. David tried to fix the problem but couldn't. He would have had to replace the windows and he didn't want to do that. In the end, we were very unhappy with the results. We had withheld the 10% of his fee while he tried to fix it. In the end he just put the charge through on our credit card without our approval and without fixing the problem to our satisfaction. He offered no sort of discount or any other compensation. He might come in with good pricing to win the job but we will definitely not be hiring him again.

This review is grossly unfair
I dealt with this client 3 times in total and did multiple extras just because I chose to
I did windows originally without incident
I did doors on the second contract and although the client suggests there was an issue I can only assume it was addressed either by my installer, service technician, or supplier She never raised any issue with me the 3rd time she called me back to finish the windows so I'm surprised that she mentions there being an issue in the above review.
The 3rd contract involved me finishing the windows in the home
She asked for special terms which I gave her
I finished the job and probably never asked for any kind of payment for at least 30 days after job was done
She mentioned she had a couple of marks on the inside of the windows.
I suggested (not her) that she hold back 15% of the balance until we could agree on a time for me to come by and take a look at the issue
I went by one evening and felt I did a thorough job cleaning up the marks on the jamb extensions which are vinyl in this case (NOT on the windows themselves)
I had a good conversation with her husband as I was leaving and explained that if there was a further issue I would be happy to change the jamb extensions (NOT the windows). The client suggests I would have needed to replace the windows which is simply not true.
I never heard back from the client and assumed (wrongly) that everything was fine and my office put thru the remainder of the balance on the credit card.
I received a nasty text maybe a month later (we had never had an exchange of harsh words or texts before NEVER) so I was extremely surprised.
I sent a text back reiterating the quality of my product and installation but stated in my text that I "would do anything necessary to make her happy". This text is still on my phone today.
I never heard back from her until reading this review
