The home inspector made some notes about eaves troughs on my new home. After getting several quotes I went with these guys. My first mistake. 1. They showed up 2 weeks early. Great... nope. I didn't own the home The current owner was understandable very upset that these workers just started and never talked to her. 2. The eaves put on the house were larger but didn’t work any better. When I went up and looked at them the down spout opening was 1x2 at best. 3. The eaves on the garage were never checked. First rain fall all the rain went over the gutters on the front, the downspouts are on the back. I went out and put a level on the eaves troughs and saw the bubble firming on the front side of the garage. You would think a professional would have checked this before they left. We all know water flows down hill. 4. When I first got them back after explaining on the problem on the phone, they explained that my garage had listed and they could not adjust the gutters anymore than it already was. They drilled a hole in the gutter near the front of the garage as they didn’t bring any supplies to move the downspouts. 5. I was putting in a new driveway and I thought I might be able to have the drain go in to the driveway drain. So I asked them to come back. When they came back i had called them and I told them I definitely wanted the downspouts to be moved and I was willing to pay the extra expense for the materials. They were willing to forgo the labour. 6. They sent their best guy. He showed up with next to no materials and put the downspout exactly where the hole was drilled. Which means the downspout drains three feet up hill and the water runs back down to my garage foundation. 7. They have never come back and I am basically right where I was before I put eaves troughs on my garage. I will never recommend them to anybody. They simply don’t understand that water flows down hill. Seems to me that, that would be the first thing a competent installer should know. Even their "Best Guy"
