Curbz Landscaping

After moving into my new house, I wanted to re-landscape the front yard and do some work in the back yard. The crew were friendly and the project cost as quoted. They removed the old retaining wall and ground cover and added a new retaining wall in the front yard, and added a new raised flower bed in the backyard. They also prepared a base for a new garden shed. Quality work.

We had been putting off finishing our overgrown backyard for a couple of years now, mostly because I was having trouble finding a landscaper I wanted to work with. When I met Ian he was so easy to talk to and knowledgeable I knew he was the right person for the job. Then we got to work with Sylvie who did the drawings, Joel and his crew who leveled the ground and meticulously added the stone and grass, as well as Jude and her crew who advised us on what to plant, everyone involved was really professional, friendly and took pride in their work. We were concerned about the dryer vent being underneath the stairs but Joel knew exactly how to fix that for us, it was such a relief. We were so pleased with the work they did, we have received so many compliments, we are truly the envy of the neighbourhood. Everyone is waiting for the weather to get warmer so they can come over for a bbq. Our backyard is finally the beautiful oasis we've always dreamed of. Thanks Curbz!

Ian and his folks did an amazing job on my front and side yard! Right from the start, we felt very comfortable with Ian. He presented us with several options that totally worked within our budget and more importantly made the MOST of our budget! He also impressed us because his crew actually finished on schedule and on-budget (when does that ever happen)! His crew, from Sylvie who designed the front yard to Joel and Dave who did all the stone work and Jude who created the front garden - were all amazing and super easy to work with! Special kudos to Joel and Dave who recreated the front and side yard of my house with all the lovely stonework they did! They basically ripped everything out and rebuilt it! I now have a beautiful front retaining wall with an elegant and inviting curved entrance way to my stunning walkway which leads up to the front porch that they also rebuilt! Everything now looks unified and simply gorgeous! And did I fail to mention, I LOVE the stonework - Joel and Dave worked their magic on a challenging project as my house sits on a slope and isn't exactly square to the sidewalk, but they were able to make everything look perfect! They also did the work on the water drainage system on the side of the house which was very well thought out because it basically created an irrigation system for the front garden and back yard - a total bonus! Lastly, Jude did an amazing job with the planting. She created a beautiful perennial garden with lots of colour and texture that will bloom all season long! But more importantly, the plants are easy to take care of and maintain as I am a novice gardener! I can't wait for the spring to see the garden come to life! We had a ranch style wooden fence for many years around our corner lot. After years of maintenance, it was time for the fence to come down and we wanted something new with little maintenance. Ian had the plan and suggestions for materials. Joel and Dave took down the old fence and put up the new iron fence. We are thrilled with the new look. Our property was spotless the entire time work was going on. Our thanks to Ian, Joel and Dave! We would definitely call Ian again when we need some landscaping done.

We had a very unique space to work with, which brought along many unique quotes. When we contacted Judith at Curbz she was very interested in our vision and achieving it within our budget. She was extremely helpful and thoughtful when it came to choosing shrubs and flowers that would work within our space. The day the job was completed, we found that her staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and organized. We constantly get asked who did our garden, to which we enthusiastically respond Curbz!

Ian and his team recently completed a large retaining wall and fence project for us (50' ft long by 6' high). The finished result in amazing. All my neighbours have commented on the quality of the finished product. Joel was the contractor on the job. The craftmanship was excellent, the job was completed on budget, within the timelines, and at an earlier start date than anticipated. The service was great. Even some of my neighbours commented that the staff was exceptionally curteous to them. Joel even took an hour out of his time to help my neighbour get into her car (she had locked in her toddler with the keys). I would highly recommend Curbz to any of my friends or family members. Great job!!
PS: If their quote ends up being above another quote, the service and quality of the work will more than likely make up for it.

I am extremely happy with the work Ian and his crew did on my front walkway. They made it look exactly as I wanted. They were on time, on budget, very friendly and very organized. Ian and his Curbz team were the very best. I had interviewed a number of landscaping companies - big and small - and each came back with ideas that did not marry with what I was looking for. I had explained to each of them how I would use the space; had described in detail what I could afford; and asked each of them for their feedback. The responses were not always what I was looking for. In fact one had said that my space was "too small" to bother with. Then, just when I thought I would be stuck with my boring, small, tired and dated space, Ian and Curbz Landscaping came to my backyard. Ian was honest and comfortable to work with. He explained in detail how it could work, what his team could do and how they were a full service company (they fixed my garden too!)

I had a finite budget that I could work with and Ian and his team made it all come together - on time and on budget. Ian and his team were very VERY professional. And each member of the team took pride in the work that they were doing. And most important of all, my space was NOT too small for them to work with.

I have worked with trades people before and always with a source of frustration. This is not the case with Curbz. It started with the plan which was customized to my needs. Then the team came in to execute the plan - Team Joel- were FANTASTIC. They came to the site on time and worked ALL day every day until the project was done and forgive me if I repeat myself, but it was done ON TIME.

Ian did something many of the others that came to look at my space did not do - he listened. In addition, he made some experienced recommendations and coordinated everything. Ian and his team introduced me to some of the newest landscaping products on the market; they made tweaks as they went along - as they wanted everything perfect. And everything was done with perfection - even the boring things such as working through the contract - fair, honest and professional.

I am now the proud owner of a Curbz Landscaping project. I am even more proud to show it off. I have left my promotional sign up as I'm happy to answer any questions about my experience with Curbz. I have a family member who is a Professional Civil Engineer and he was beyond impressed with the structural elements of the project that Curbz did and THAT is telling in itself.

My small space is beautiful and useful, but it is also to code and structurally sound.

Very pleased with the service we received from Curbz. House looks so much better. The crew works extremely hard, morning until night. They dug out all of our weeds, dug down into the soil, brought in new soil, smoothed it out, sodded both yards, repaired our front portch, planted trees, gave us tips on maintenance. Could not be happier. I highly recommend Curbz.

Our Yard and driveway were a mess. Curbz did a great job for a great price. The work was completed in a professional manner and Curbz was very accomodating for small additional requests. Overall it was a perfect experience!
