Coscorp Master Builders

Numerous problems with the new home. Water leak in upstairs bathroom. Floor joists not nailed down in master bedroom. Sloppy parging and cement work. Wrong kitchen cabinet colour. Rotting front balcony posts. Poor insulation and cheap windows. The long list goes on and on. This builder took two years to correct most but not all of our problems after we moved in. 30 day list took a full year to complete after repeated calls to them. Customer service is the worst we have ever encountered and still is today. Just try to get a response. They don't answer or don't call you back. This is our fourth new home and we have dealt with other builders before. However, this one does not supervise its trades and lets many problems slip through. Our Coscorp neighbors also report water leaks, squeaking floors and stairs, missing insulation, poor workmanship,and many problems that are never fixed. The builder hopes that you will give up and pay someone else to fix the problems. Builder does not like to do upgrades and overcharges for them. Avoid this builder. Some home designs look good but not worth it. Save yourself a lot of time and stress over two or three years.

We also had a home built by Coscorp. The last year has been one headache after another.
Our home is not what we thought we were purchasing when we read the feature sheet. It is extremely poor quality and the problems continue.

If you are having stair problems in your home..........you are not the only one. Check homes built in Hillsburg and your neighbours in Milton. You can get your stairs fixed. Just continue to fight and don't back down. Coscorp is known for having problems with stain colours on the stairs. Good Luck!!

My husband and I were very excited about purchasing a home by Coscorp in Milton. The floor plan and price were perfect for us.. however the buying process and end results have been extremely frustrating and disappointing. First of all, the sales centre staff were so rude and didn't know the prices of any upgrades. Any questions that were asked were not answered unless we called the head office. Our staircase is a completely different colour from our hardwood floors because Mary at the sales centre wrote down the incorrect colour of stain. Apparantly it is not going to be fixed - but I'll be damned if I allow then to get away with having incompetent employees who affect the end result in my house. The site supers can spend all of their time visiting our house for beer breaks and to cool off in our air conditioning, but can't answer any of our questions. At our site, the builder made so much extra money from people who paid deposits and walked away from deals - can't some of that money be used to repair our staircase?

I have read all the reviews on Coscorp. The only two reviews that were positive seemed to be written by Coscorp themselves.
My home is almost one year new and I have had nothing but problems with getting any of my deficiencies fixed.
Coscorp rated themselves as great when you are looking at their homes but once they get your money they provide you with no respect. My home has had numerous problems. Squeaky floors (noted on P.D.I), problems with opening windows, plumbling and electrical problems.....the list goes on. I would trust that anyone whom is buying a new home in Milton should talk to people who have bought a Coscorp home and you will find that the negative far outweighs the positive. Its too bad. This is an investment and I feel that I have been taken advantage of. Buy a Mattamy instead!!!!!!!!!!!

We have just moved into our new home in Milton (Ridgeview) and are extremely satisfied. This is our second new construction home and in our opinion it was a smarter move to purchase from a smaller builder tham a larger one. The salespeople took their time and actually got to know us as did the super. We obviously had a few deficiencies during our PDI but compared to our previous home (a much larger builder) this was heaven.

I would strongly recommend this builder to my friends.

We were very dissatisfied with the overal process during and after the building of our "Retirement" home. After many years of planning for our to be "Retirement Home" the actual process was very daunting. We studied the selected floor plan very carefully and listed our "Major" changes that we needed and the "Non-essential" would likes. After many discussions with sales personnel, we finally came up with a workable plan only to find out afterwards that some of our wants could have been included even though the sales people said "no way", can't do this or that. Some of the items we wanted weren't even structural or more expensive for the builder. And in some cases would have been cheaper in the overal building process. We weren't prepared for the cheap and unproffesional workmanship we received in our "Dream Retirement Home". We advise any new home owners to look elsewhere and to ask many, many questions. Get everything in writing, even the smallest item needs to be in writing, for if it's not, you will not get what you believe is included.

Although most only take the time to write when not happy, I came across this site, and wanted to make sure others know that I am a very satisfied Coscorp homeowner. I found the staff at Coscorp very helpful throughout the process. Although there were some minor items during the PDI, my family and I were very pleased with the overall quality put into the construction.

I would recommend this builder to anyone looking for a new home.

We had Coscorp build our home which we designed and provided to them.
What a huge mistake!!!!!!!
They call themselves Master Builders!
We moved into a home that had extensive mold in the basement which after arguments and having a mold removal company inspect it they finally removed the mold, insulation and cleaned the vents.
Now we are told by the electrical society that the electrician has 8 major violations in our home. Everything about this home is poor quality, poor service, and hassle after hassle.
I would never ever recommend this builder.

The owner is extremely arrogant and seems to have very little knowledge about the homes that he builds and leaves all issues to be resolved by his site super

wait a minute if his site super is doing the presidents job then who’s doing the site supers job … could this be why the quality and workmanship of Coscorp’s homes are so poor no super to supervise each stage of building your home, and that’s when the mistakes ( numerous mistakes ) start happening ,as they did with my home

Coscorp employees are unprofessional and if you have a warrantable item or problem the owner will not respond and his service personal will find a way to delay service as long a legally possible or avoid it all together.

The quality of the homes are very poor for the amount of money you pay.
I have read reviews about this builder having standard features that other builders considered up grades, however nothing is for free.

As for upgrades with this builder they are unclear no lists are provided and prices are subject to customers financial status.

I urge anyone considering dealing with this builder to actually speak to home owners and ask them about there experiences , we all know that written reviews are not always honest Currently finished areas are Milton: Towns & Singles , Maple: upscale homes
