Surpassed expectations

Assisted Review

An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.

I really appreciate your companies "hand holding" me through the maze of the project and keeping abreast of any developments and continuing progress right from design & renovation completion. Suzie, Anna, Halcyon and you were always very caring and I actually felt like we almost were like family! You really listen and care and come through.

As I said last night......now I look forward to coming home to my condo knowing that it's really a special place for me unwind, relax and truly admire and enjoy. As you know previously it was used by me as just a place to hang my hat and continue to work. Now I just want to show the world how such a small space can seem so large! I mean LARGE!!!

I wanted to send this letter for reference on how really impressed I was of your firm’s professionalism throughout the design and renovation process.
Television personality- Mike Holmes, who is on HGTV & we all know how much he dislikes poor contractors says that we should take heed.

Anyway to quote from that article:
"Homeowners often tell me that the world of renovations is like the "the wild, wild west"-- cowboys and outlaws who ride off into the night, and everyone wonders "where's the sheriff"? Yes, good contractors are hard to find -- it's not a case of the good contractors wearing white hats and the bad ones wearing black hats. Why? The "good" are always in demand and they get offered more work than they can ever manage.

Homeowners need to understand that the good contractor wants to make sure the job is right for him, too. You see, for good contractors -- the ones with the right attitude and the ones who take pride in their work -- this job is also about their next job. They know they are really only as good as their last project. Their reputation matters and referrals from satisfied clients are important.
Keep this in mind the next time a contractor comes to look at your renovation: They're looking at what you want and need, whether they can successfully deliver it given your budget and timelines, and who else is working on the job.
If they feel they might have to compromise their quality standards, if your budget expectations are too low or you want the job rushed or you've hired some people in the sub trades who aren't skilled, they will walk away.

All the things he talks about in this article of knowing you're dealing with a good contractor is what I think Corpland Contracting has shown me that they take to heart and take pride in their work.
Congratulations to your staff and all sub contractors involved. As Robert, my Condo Building Manager said, it was an extremely ambitious project.....but surpassed expectations with the challenge.
