Thank you Josh! I really appreciate the review. I am glad that you were happy with the inspection. Aurora/Newmarket is not far, I have gone much, much further than that! Josh, I feel that it is a home inspector’s duty to educate a person about the home. It only makes sense. I actually know many a home inspector who don't want people to follow them around. Maybe they fear someone may ask them a question that they don't know the answer to or aren’t watching what they are doing. To me, I think it is much more beneficial for the both of us when people shadow me. That way, people understand everything as to what is going on with the home. Yes, home inspectors will go through renovation plans to help people out when they are considering having work done to the home. Not like an interior designer type thing (I leave that stuff the the professionals), but to aid people on the work that needs to get done, and sometimes even help people save a little money when possible!
