Cinderfella Chimney Sweeps

Called Kevin as we had been issued a tag for not having a cap on our chimney. He was very pleasant man to talk to, and offered many alternatives to our problem. After having chosen our solution, he came at the prearranged time and did what we had agreed upon and actually ended up fixing a few loose bricks on the chimney while he was up there at no extra cost. Clean, polite, great pricing, and efficient work. Will call him and his crew again when or if any other chimney work is required.

Kevin and his sons were fantastic. They did a great job rebuilding our chimney, cleaned up nicely afterwards, and were great to deal with. I would highly recommend Kevin and Cinderfella for any brick/masonry related jobs.

Kevin and his crew were charmers, work was quoted, the job kept growing. In the end our chimney needs to be rebuilt, wrong liner put in and it's crooked. We called and called, he disappeared. Never provided receipts. Stay clear.

Kevin's got great marketing skills, but he's a salesman. He'll oversell and underdeliver!
Very smooth talker before you hire him. Kevin made promises to fix things which weren't completed. He also asked for full payment, so he had no reason to come back to do what he promised.
Also he didn't provide an invoice.

Kevin showed up right on time and provided me with a very reasonable quote to tuck-point my old chimney. Within three days, Mark arrived, also on time, to do the work. The job was completed for exactly the quoted price and they cleaned up after themselves extremely well. Overall, Kevin and Mark were very professional, friendly and responsive. They went out of their way to do some other jobs for me including re caulking some old windows. Unfortunately, I have a fear of heights so I have been unable to see and therefore comment on the quality of their work; but just today, I had a roofing company come by to do some repairs and the very experienced roofer commented that whoever did the recent tuck-pointing job on my chimney did a first class job. I'd definitely use the Cinderfellas again!

I got Cinderfella's name from a friend when I needed repairs to my chimney after damage in a storm. The owner Kevin came out to take a look and was able to start rebuilding it the next day. The job was done quickly and they cleaned up the mess afterward,and they chraged what they said they would. I would gladly recommend Cinderfella.

Last week Cinderfella gave us a written quote to rebuild the chimney on our 50 year old home. Kevin came today and rebuilt the chimney and cleaned it. He also installed glass doors on our fireplace. He came at the agreed upon time and finished the work quickly and efficiently. We were charged the amount on the written quote and were very pleased with the service. Hired Cinderfella to remove an old chimney. He and his assistant showed up before scheduled day and started work even tho nobody was present. They also decided it was okay to cut a hole in bricks on the exterior of the house so they could use the old chimney as a chute to fire the bricks down as they removed them from the roof. Ended up with a hack patch job and a totally unneccessary one at that. It's also an interior chute they were using by the way. You can imagine the toll on the plaster as bricks hurtle down. They simply couldn't be bothered to hand the bricks down or take any care at all.

I hired based on HomeStars feedback. Chimney seems clean, but damper is still blocked and obviously wasn't removed for cleaning as claimed. A month later and they haven't returned my calls.

Cinderfella showed up on time and cleaned 2 of our fireplaces. The workmanship was professional and they did not leave a mess. They provided suggestions on tuckpointing. We would certainly use them again!
