Bravura Interiors

When we moved to Vancouver in 2007, we had to furnish an apartment, having downsized from a house and left most of our furniture behind. Bravura offered a designer consultation, the cost of which could be deducted from the first purchase. We signed up and met Lawrence Willett. He made recommendations for a challenging but interesting space, found furniture that was exactly right for the apartment, and organized painters and other trades. The apartment was transformed into a wonderful living space. Two years later, we are still working with Lawrence on various renovation projects. Meeting him made our initial visit to Bravura extremeely worthwhile.

I purchased a Calligaris table on sale in October and set a date and time to have it delivered. The day arrived, the hour arrived and I gave them an extra hour of grace but nothing. I called the store and they canceled my delivery by mistake. Fine, could they deliver later on that day? Yes of course was the reply. The time came and still no word. I had to call only to find out that the delivery people had gone home and had my table in the truck with them. I would have to wait for another few days?? So I decided to pick the table up myself but was really concerned that they would also screw up reimbursing the delivery charge. Surprise surprise. Weeks later I reluctantly called again to get them to fix this.

I will never go into this store ever again. Not only were there massive mistakes on their part but I had to try to be very pleasant as they were extremely defensive at any hint of my annoyance. All I wanted to tell them was to LEARN SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SOME ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS FOR GOODNESS SAKE. I regret all the time I wasted speaking to these people.

we got really nice dining table and chairs from this store. but we found noticable scraches right after we got it, and called the store. the store manager kept saying " i will call you back when i get information." but never called us back. we called the store many times and he just kept saying same thing "i will call you back when i get information" products are really awesome, but the service is really bad and dissapointing. that's bravura on pender st.

Living in a tiny loft in Yaletown, space for storage is like gold!! Any little extra spot to stuff your "just can't throw away" ables is a godsend. So, in searching for a sleek, modern bed, we lucked out doubly with the terrific guys at Bravura. Not only did we snag an amazing bed that incorporated both feminine and masculine tastes, but the mattress raised up effortlessly on hydraulics to reveal a great storage space for winter clothes, extra bedding, or whatever! The mattress we first purchased was a little too hard, so with no problems, they exchanged our mattress for a softer version of memory foam which is like a dream to sleep on! The service is great, very up to date on knowledge staff, keen on making you happy without pushing things down your throat. A breath of fresh air for sure!

Bought my sofa and dining room chairs from Barvura's Pender St location. Probably the best prices for Contemporary Italian made furniture in the city. If you don't mind a great looking look alike to B&B Italia at a third the price, this is the place.
