Three years ago I would have written a glowing review of Brandom for both their design work and their workmanship. After having some other contractors do work for us I will still give them a great review for design, but not as high for workmanship.
They use the "jack of all trade" installers to go plumbing, flooring, electrical and cabinets and we found out after the fact that although the outside of the project looked great, there were some corners cut that left us with cracking floors (since fixed by Brandom so I'll give them credit for that - amazing how screwing down a proper subfloor makes a difference), no proper venting in plumbing fork, a toilet that was caulked not bolted to the floor - issues we have since paid to have fixed by licensed professionals.
- Approximate cost of services:
- $50,000.00
- What could this company do to improve their services?
- Hire qualified tradespeople not guys who think they can do it all.
- Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
- Get multiple quotes, insist on qualified professionals and get a permit so you have an inspection done!
