We have used Bradshaw plumbing for small plumbing jobs in the past and they were great. I would definitely recommend them for that.
HOWEVER, for reno jobs, buyer beware! Check every minute detail before signing anything because they do not stand behind their installation!
First: Read the review of 0/10 from 12/20/2016 titled "Leaking Pipe In Shower Stall + Quote To Re-Do Shower Stall" as that was our experience with the sales person EXACTLY -- no need to write the exact same details.
When we decided to do a bathroom reno and we saw such great reviews on-line we decided to go through Bradshaw even though they were substantially more expensive than any other quotes. Our first quote from Bradshaw was for $16,000, which was NOT a full gut, it included a piece of linoleum to cover the current floor tiles because removing them would be difficult because they were properly installed, as well as a laminate counter so we are not talking high end finishings.
In the end we decided not to re-do the shower (went with another company for that), didn't replace the floor, didn't replace the toilet, just did the sink & counter (again, not high end) and shower fixtures but that still cost $8000. We agreed to it but really, we felt ripped-off in the end.
The products arrived for both the cabinet and counter as damaged. The installer only told me this AFTER I noticed the issue. He was checking to see if it could be fixed or if they would have to be sent back for a new counter AFTER dis-assembling my current set-up. Thankfully they determined a way to fix the counter by removing a strip of the laminate that was damaged and glueing on a new piece. Ah, okay...
It took 2 days to install, plus a follow-up visit to replace the damaged part of the cabinet.
In the end it looked fine. BUT a matter of months later and the caulking around the sink was all deteriorating. We called Bradshaw and caulking isn't covered (even though the sales associate we discussed everything with originally had said if we had any issues just call them -- right!). So we had to either leave it looking like crap or fix it ourselves or hire someone to fix it. I have never had this issue with caulking before. When it was installed I had mentioned to the installer that it was such a small amount of caulking applied and he said everyone else applies too much and this is all you need. Right (see photo supplied).
We then noticed that where the laminate strip was removed and glued on that the installers cut was not precise leaving a small gap so water can get in under the laminate. Again, not Bradshaw's issue as we signed off on the installation.
2 years after the installation, we now are experiencing water hammer on the faucet they installed, which means we now have to replace it ourselves. Obviously not as high quality a product as we were lead to believe.
Will never use them for a reno again!
Check everything, and I mean everything with a fine-tooth comb before giving final payment. Get everything in writing! and if there is anything you are not happy with get it fixed immediately before paying as they do not stand behind their installations.
