Purchased directly from the builder, Toronto condo by the Lake.

Complete disregard for OBC and Tarion requirements

Beaverhall has been pathetic in its responsibility to address an HVAC issue, which falls under Ontario Building Code requirements and the Tarion Warranty. Their reputation can only be improved by focussing on the end customer and quality delivery.

More Issues with the Beaverhall Home

Well - More issues with my Milton Ontario Beaverhall home. My home is a perfect example of the level of incompetency Beaverhall performs. Last year I noticed the shingles started to degrade. Now after 12 years I feel that it is a bit early for shingles to start to degrade, but anyhow - I noticed that several houses similar to the design of my home the same thing was happening. I hired a company to replace the roof. Soon into the roof job, the roofers noticed that my home has no baffles in the attic. YES - That is not a typo. My family has always noticed how hot the upper floor is in the summer and ice cold in the winter. Well the big reason for this is that there is no air flow or ventilation in the attic, because the builder did not install any baffles. Also - There were several pieces of plywood that were not even nailed down. So lets review the list of moronic errors this builder has done.

1. Foundation gaps and cracks
2. Failed to install a membrane in the stand up shower
3. Broken A/C unit within the first 12 months
4. Failed Furnace after the first 8 years
5. Missing insulation in attic
6. Poorly installed floor joists causing ceiling sag
7. No Baffles in attic
8. Didn't nail down plywood

Anyone up for a collective law suit?

Condo Purchase from BeaverHall

What a horrible company to deal with. They are deceiving, lack complete communication and unaccountable for any of their mistakes.

I paid a premium for my condominium by the lake. After the purchase, Beaverhall decided to back peddle in terms of the promised finishes and gave us "cheap crap". Their trades rush and rush to finish work at bare minimum. Stay away from Beaverhall please.

Home, Milton

It is sad to say, but this company DOES NOT care about it customers. They did not do the required repairs and looked for any reason to delay until it too late. You must go to CONCILIATION to get anything done. Even then, they give you a hard time. Overall a very bad experience, and as a result we will NEVER buy from Beaverhall again.

New Condominium

We purchased a pre-construction condo, great to deal with pre-build. Starting with our PDI we experienced nothing but disaster and terrible customer service - the craftsmanship/quality was absolutely horrid. A child with their hands tied behind their back could have done a better job laying the floor/managing to get the cupboards to match up colourwise. We are thoroughly disappointed with the never-ending issues that have plagued our unit. Would not recommend Beaverhall to anybody, not even my worst enemy.

New Condo

We bought a new condo from Beverhall as Builder and Graywood as developer. During the sale process, staff very nice and sold the unit. At the time sale, the hide that another building is coming up and we obstruct the view. Secondly quality of work is very poor. Staff is not at all cooperative and shows their attitude all time. Not even flexible with booking appointments. They have not fixed PDI issue and gave keys "as is". upon calling they replied that we have 500 units to take care and we don't have staff to fix your unit. It will be done eventually. Quality of work is also very door. Door & Window trim aren't align properly and are dirty too. Paint work is not good either. We we pointed out bad paint work inside WIC, which is dark. They said do not ficus light, it will not be called defect. Given an option, please do not buy home from Beverhall. They do not shows any professionalism is dealing with customer and neither shows any professionalism in doing actual work.

New Home Purchase - Milton Phase 2

I baught my house brand new. I must say for the high price you are paying you are really getting shafted. Some of the problems I've encountered are: Light switches 2 feet away from the door, water leak in basement, porch step was off centered, interior doors are off centered to the room, floor vents filled with garbage - Beaverhall does not clean this in new homes, Kitchen cabinets and counter tops are horrible, staircase was not finished properely - sandpaper scratches still visable, and finally the roof has got to be the worst thing out there. My roof is losing shingles because of high winds. My one neighbour has a section of shingles rolled up and it leaked. My other neighbour had a section of his shingles roll up as well. All you could see was the plywood. No tar paper what so ever on the roof. The tar paper was missing at the base of the roof where it's code. How did this pass inspection? I was planning on replacing the roof down the road but those plans changed after I witnessed multiple shingles flapping in the wind and missing off the roof tops around my neighbourhood. I called Sandy to have her replace the missing shingles but she said the warranty on the shingles is 2 years with the builder. A few days later there was a contractor fixing all the damaged homes for Beaverhall. I guess enough people complained and prompted Beaverhall to cover the repair cost for everyone affected. I asked Sandy about the manufacturer and lifespan of the shingles. Sandy said it was a 15 year shingle from IKO. I'll have to double check my contract but I remember a 20 year shingle was in writing. I even research IKO and found there is a class action lawsuit against them for flooding the market with cheap shingles. The link to this is: http://www.classaction.ca/actions/Products-Liability/Current-Actions/IKO-Roofing-Shingles.aspx?caredrected=1
Maybe there should be a class action for Beaverhall Homes just on the roofing issue alone. Anyways, I did end up getting a new roof simply because I predict many more strong wind stoms to come.

BEaverhall Milton- Phase 2

We purchased one of the last remaining lots in Phase 2. Overall, any issues that we had, we went through Beaverhall and they were quick to fix everything.

Overall, our Beaverhall built home is very good when comparing to the Mattamy homes.
