Everything from the initial call and meeting was excellent. Through proper planning and design, you were able to create the exact backyard we have always dreamed of. Once construction started, your crew was on schedule, courteous and respectful towards mine and all of my neighbors properties. There was some unavoidable damage to the side walk and driveway, however, it is to be expected when you are doing such a large construction project.
Throughout construction we were well informed of daily progress and the finished product was beautiful! Although your price was higher than some of the other quotes, we believe we got what we paid for. We could have had our pool built for less, but we wanted the job done right and finished on time, and backyard getaways did not let us down.

You guys are very professional! From the initial presentation to the on-time start date, the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend you to friends and family that are looking for a quality built pool.

Backyard Getaways installed out pool with an opening in the spring of 2006. The construction was efficient and the employess always courteous. Here we are in 2010 and in the fall of last year, I contacted John inquiring about what could be done with a crack that had appeared in the top edge of the pool steps. Being too late in the season to do anything with it, he promised to help me out this season and help me out he did. He contacted the pool manufacturer who in turn dispatched a company specializing in this type of repair. The repair was made at no cost to me and the steps again look like new. Not easy to find a contractor in any line of work who will readily back up thir work 4 years down the road!!

We hired Backyard Getaways to install flagstone on our upper terrace, covered rear porch, front and side entrances and we are thrilled with how it all turned out. From beginning to end the crew at BYG was fantastic. John spent as much time as was required to get the details just right. He made the suggestion to do stairs around the spa and sink it for more privacy. We never would have thought of that and it looks amazing. Regi took over from John once the project got underway and Aldo was on site every day to make sure things were being done according to his standards. Regi was nothing but professional in handling my million and one questions and emails. Daphne took her time and explained the importance of keeping your pool balanced and made it simple enough for a newbie to understand.

Came in right around budget (we made some modifications/upgrades after signing).

I actually think Backyard Getaways exceeded my expectations in most areas of this pool build and will be recommending them to my friends who are getting ready to take the "plunge."

Backyard Getaways installed a pool for us. They were able to accommodate our schedule which was driven by the progress of the house we were building at the same time. They worked well with our contractor. We were very impressed with the precision of the excavation. The entire experience was positive. We have already recommended them to a number of people and will continue to do so. We continue to use them for supplies and water analysis. It is rare to find such a dedicated group.

Our dream was not as simple as we thought. It was obstructed by a very large and menacing slope and drainage gulley. All of the qualified companies we contacted for quotes and advice, took a look, smiled, and retreated just as quickly as they came. It was “we can’t do this”, “you can’t put a pool there”, or “you’ll have to put the pool 4ft from the house and avoid the gulley and slope” or face the wrath of a huge price tag and a long drawn out process with the City.

Along came John from Backyard Getaways. We told him what we wanted, and he took a look, paused and then turned to us, smiled and said “We can do this”. From that moment, I knew we were dealing with the right people. From start to finish, John and the team listened to what we wanted, drew up a plan all the while staying within a rather modest budget for the task at hand. From the initial drawings, to final plans and quotes, everything was handled with complete professionalism, and in a timely manner. Every aspect of the construction was completed with care and quality workmanship. The crews would even stay a half hour every night to ensure our driveway and street, were completely clear of any dirt, stone or other debris. We couldn’t believe that the guys, who had just worked 10 or more hours in the blazing heat, would take the time to smile, say hello, and still clean up!!! One of the crew even took the time to thank our daughter for a picture she drew him, taped it up in his dump truck and drove around with it the entire time so she could see it everyday! Who does that nowadays?

Once the pool and landscape was complete, we received precise instructions of running the pool, and what type of things we would need to maintain our salt water bliss. Anytime we have a question, they are just a phone call away, and always willing to help.

We had the group at Backyard Getaways redo our backyard and add a pool ... very pleased with the quality of the work, they did exactly what we wanted. Did take alittle longer then we had thought, but we also had alot of rain which slows things done. Group was very friendly and very responsive. We choose Backyard Getaways after getting a number of quotes from big name pool installers, we choose them as they where the only ones who listened to us and did it the way we wanted. Would highly recommend to anyone.

We had Backyard Getaways install our Inground Saltwater pool and do Decorative Concrete work for us. I had interviewed several companies before booking anyone, and from the moment I met John, the search was over! He kept our appointment on time, he offered suggestions, made recommendations, and was very upfront about costs. Then his brother Regi, took over on the job site and had a fantastic crew of guys there everyday. They kept our project on budget and earlier than scheduled - a bet you don't hear that everyday!

Our finished product is awesome, from the custom saltwater pool, to the iron safety fence, cabana and almost 1500 square feet of beautiful decorative concrete! These guys care about what they do and who they do work for. I have since recommended Backyard Getaways to everyone I can, and several have now had the pleasure of working with this company. We are moving again soon, and can't wait to have Backyard Getaways create our new beautiful backyard at the new house!
