The movers showed up right on time - and would a pleasure to work with. They packed up everything in record time and wrapped all our of furniture. We had very little damages - just the little things you expect with moving. The estimate was a lower than what we did end up paying - only off by ~$200. Overall we were very satisfied.

Avenue Moving was a pleasure to work with from the very beginning. The consultant who came to the home for an estimate very carefully walked through the whole house with my husband, and gave a sensible breakdown of the estimate.

On packing day the movers arrived on time and worked non-stop until the packing was done. Even my in-laws, who are hard to impress, were impressed!

They arrived early on moving day and worked like a well-oiled machine. Took only very short breaks throughout the entire day and were extremely polite friendly and, dare I even say, fun to have around. they were extremely careful with our stuff and overall just did a great job. Would recommend them without hesitation!!

The moving crew was extremely efficient, polite and careful. They wouldn't even take time to have lunch and even beat me to the new house. They even appeared to be having fun while working. I would highly recommend them.

We hired Avenue to move our stuff into storage, hold it during a renovation, then move it to our new house all within Toronto.

We also agreed that on moving day after picking up the storage items the moving van would stop at my condo to pick up 5 items of furniture,

Showed up on time got the stuff at the condo then the games began.

The van had to park 6 houses away on our street (think narrow houses downtown Toronto). We were informed that they would not unload the truck until a second crew came as the distance exceeded 10 car lengths.

I found it all very petty since there was only six cars between the rear doors and our house.

We paid for the extra crew (it was all an hourly estimate anyway) and I kept the $500 tip I had for them in my pocket.

The movers showed up an hour late, moved very slowly, took frequent smoke breaks and were quite careless with our items.

They damage 6 separate pieces of furniture and left a tropical plant on the front porch for 3 hours in below freezing temperatures. It died. They were careless with an antique steamer trunk I own and when it broke, their comment was "this old trunk is falling apart".

The office staff are very professional and reasonable. They reimbursed us for an hour of time due to the slow movers, but I think they must contract out the movers so they don't really know who is going to show up at your door.

I would not recommend them.
