Jason and Gerry are pros at moving furniture in. They brought in a very heavy coffee table and a console table. They got it down the basement stairs easily and are did it white a smile. I thought they were excellent!

Have used avenue moving for furniture delivery for years. Always on time and professional. They clean up and take all garbage with them. They always go above and beyond and never disappoint.

Terrible company. Ordered furniture from Restoration Hardware and this was the company that delivered. Like many have mentioned, they only do deliveries in certain areas on certain days so you have to take the earliest day they give you or else wait a while.

They gave me a a day and time window, and told me I had to book the condo elevator for then, which I did. They showed up an hour early, so the service driveway had a van in it. They said they could only deliver if the elevator was booked, and could not do so from the condo driveway due to rules and regulations.

I understood this was likely due to liability risks, but they were early, so I asked them to give me a few minutes and I'd get the person to move the van. The delivery guy said too bad they will have to deliver another day. I stressed that I would get the van moved and he again said no and repeated they would have to come back another day. I got angry at this point and told him I booked the elevator for the time they told me, and they showed up at another time.

While I went upstairs to get the van people to move it, the delivery guy called me repeatedly. I refused all the calls because I knew he would tell me he was leaving. The van was moved and the furniture delivered and installed the furniture with a lot of attitude.

The delivery guy was rude and aggressive, and didn't care at all about the delivery, just getting getting his route done. I would never hire this company for moving, and will avoid any stores that use them for delivery services. The stress is not worth it.

Horrible company. Were suppose to deliver a sofa but refused stating the driveway was not clear enough. I have a service that clears my driveway and have had tons of deliveries. When I spoke to dispatch the person I talked to yelled at me and then hung up on me. Will never use this company or shop at any company that uses them as their delivery service.

Purchased a sofa and coffee table at urban barn, was told I'd be contacted once the sofa was available for delivery. The delivery co calls and can only provided a time frame of 10-6? seriously you start deliveries at 10am and go only until 6pm? so that cancels out most of the weekdays, I suggest a day my wife is off and am flatly told they don't deliver in my area that day, seriously? you're a delivery company that's what you do. losing a days pay to take delivery of a sofa I paid for just to accommodate the delivery company is not something I'm prepared to do, so we may end up cancelling the entire order. Luckily Urban barn's service as been great and they are trying to work something out.

I don't understand why you would use a moving company as a delivery provider, especially such a small company that clearly cannot schedule and doesn't service daily the GTA, let them stick to moving as they seem to get decent reviews for this service. Really hoping Urban Barn has some sway otherwise we won't have enough seating over the holidays.
