I hired Asbescan to remove some asbestos from the pipes running from my old boiler. It was a small job to be completed in one day. Their price fit my budget and they were referred to me by a co-worker so I did not obtain any other estimates.
Communication was excellent before the work was done. They accomodated my schedule. The foreman explained the whole process to me before they started. The crew showed up on time and worked diligently.
The work was done in a day and they left the place as clean as they found it (but for some minor drywall damage caused by removal of the negative pressure enclosure).
After the work was done it took some effort on my part to obtain a receipt (which I needed for tax purposes, among other reasons) and a certificate of removal. I had to place multiple calls and send multiple messages to multiple people to get a response. In fact, it took 8 weeks to get the final paperwork (though I paid on the day the work was done). Closing the loop was a frustrating process, but it is really more of a function of their administrative support than their removal team.
Overall, their work was good, they just need to pay a little more attention to their after sales service.
