Purchased bedroom, dining, living furniture

Loved the couch in the showroom and opted to buy most of what we needed there.
couch $1799
6x dining chairs $150/ea
queen bed/tallboy/nighttables $1500

The salesman on the floor was pleasant but the sales manager made me feel patronized without my husband.
Items were 2 weeks late and 1 dining chair was broken beyond repair and one drawer in the high boy was defective/broken. Rather promptly they sent out a technician to take photos and confirm that replacement was necessary. A month passed with no call to confirm replacement date. Several calls to Scarborough store to ask WHERE stuff was was met with the response..."we'll call you" 6 MONTHS LATER I placed a much angrier call only to find that it was now IN. We asked to pick the items up at the original store of purchase on Dundas/Mississauga. They were to call and let us know it arrived and didn't. Finally we called and discovered it was there for a week. Upon arrival at the store we found they had not sent the right chair model and the wrong drawer was replaced!!! They even had PICTURES!!!! I outright told the store manager that we would be taking these items off their showroom floor and they complied. Never again going to shop at Arrow!

BUYER BEWARE: "It's a manufacturer issue, sorry we can't help you"

Newly married couple in Brampton who is going through hell after purchasing nearly $5000 worth of furniture from Arrow Furniture's Brampton Location. Worst customer service in the industry! Bar None. They are forcing us to deal with the manufacturer on a sofa they sold us that is falling apart after only 9 months.

"Sorry you have to deal with the manufacturer on that issue, we can't help you, have a nice day".

So much for a customer satisfaction driven industry!

Buyer Beware!!!!

coffee tables and chaise

Last April we purchased a coffee table set, a chaise, an easy chair and an accent chair. Of the whole set, only the two end tables and accent chair were without defects. The legs of the chaise and easy chair had chips out of them and the Ashley coffee table had numerous defects. All of this was noted by the helpful delivery staff who phoned in the issues immediately.
To be fair, Arrow has been friendly and has done a good job of appearing to be responsive. They called after about a month to cheerfully say that Ashley had approved a replacement for our coffee table. Unfortunately it has now been 7 months since we placed our original order and we are still with all our defective furniture. All we've received are several delivery dates which have all been cancelled by Arrow, generally blaming Ashley for not meeting delivery deadlines (except the last date which was due to 2 other orders being cancelled in our delivery area). They make is sound like they have the furniture now, but they still haven't called (as promised) to set up yet another delivery date. It really looks like they are still stalling for time.
We've purchased a LOT of Ashley furniture over the last year from various vendors and have never had a problem with either product quality or delivery dates. We've also never had to wait more than a month for anything to be delivered. Arrow stuggled to deliver the original "special order" within a somewhat reasonable timeline (2.5 months), but is unable to deliver a replacement after another 4.5 months!
Arrow also refuses to issue a refund as the furniture was "special order".
We've tried to be patient, understanding and friendly, but this is looking really suspicious. I'm afraid that I just can't recommend this furniture dealer at this time. We've contacted Ashley and are waiting for their side of the story. If they confirm that they've had a problem, then I'll return here and update my opinion of Arrow.

Update (next day): We haven't heard from Ashley yet, but lo and behold or replacement coffee table finally arrived today. It came fully assembled, so it looks like Arrow took no chances and assembled/inspected it before delivery. We were pleasantly surprised.

Unfortunately the replacement leg set for our chaise was the wrong colour, so we're not out of the woods yet, but hopefully that will be resolved some time within the next several months.

I've increased my rating of the company somewhat since, after all, they did come through without a hassle...it just took a VERY long time. I'm not sure if the problem was just with Ashley as even the delivery staff were flabberghasted as to how long the whole process has taken. We may never know.

Would we shop at Arrow again? Probably, since we now know that we can at least trust them to get the product to us even if it is not in a timely fashion.

Purchase a sofa and slip cover chair w/ottoman at Mississauga location

30 WORDS WOULD NOT DO ME JUSTICE.. If you need good customer service i would advise going to another store. After 2 months of waiting for someone to come and look at my sofa and slipper chair i still have not had anyone come to view my problem.. What is up with good old customer service.. Did it die with the dinosaurs. I say not because other major retailers will be happy to take your business. So go buy from them.

dining room set and 2 bedroom sets

My wife and I love our new furniture! The salesperson was helpful and courteous the whole time, even though we were very picky customers. We found that the furniture prices reflect the quality. You get what you pay for, right? Actually, I think we got even more value for our money as the quality of the furniture is superiour to what you see at Leons, The Brick, and Bad Boy. Kudos to Arrow! We will definitely be repeat customers when the time comes for a new living room set!

Couch

Worst store ever. We bought a couch July 11. Salesperson said that it'll be delivered 10-14 days. We just phoned head office (2 weeks later), and the couch isn't even in stock and won't be delivered for another 3 weeks or so. If you want fast service, don't go to Arrow

This customer was told an approximate date of 10 to 14 days and his furniture was delivered on the 28th of the same month 17 days after he bought it.
It's actually pretty irresponsible of Homestars to post any anonymous notice they get on their website without doing any due diligence. I'm sure there are many legitimate retailers in the city who feel the same way. Shame on you guys.

dining set, leather sofa and love seat

Waited 3 weeks for deliver, Dining set was delivered broken, wanted me to keep the broken set in my home until it could be replaced(another 2 weeks) replacement furniture was also damaged. Worse Service Manager at the head office(Chuck B.,416-743-1530)and staff to deal with. They want you keep broken furniture in your home, apparently its not their problem. Leather technician verified my couch and loveseat were made of pig leather (from China) not the cow leather that I thought I purchased. Foam inside couch was warped after 1 week and still waiting for it to be fixed. If you want to keep your sanity do not buy from ARROW FURNITURE.

couch

They sprayed it to avoid stains, and since its a white couch it was well worth it! No stains and we use it every day. Well worth the price of spraying the couch (approx. 300)

redecorating

My wife and I shopped here for new furniture after we bought our first home together. We found almost everything we were looking for, and more! When you're moving from an apartment to your first home, you really do need a lot of furniture. This place was great because they delivered it on time, and it was very reasonably priced, we thought. A whole houseful of furniture can be pretty expensive, at least we managed to keep the total bill down at this store.

Decorating the house

This store has very nice furniture at affordable prices. I bought several tables there (2 end tables, a sofa table, and a coffee table) a few years ago and have received many compliments on all of them. The service was excellent, and the salesman even offered us the sale price a few days after a Boxing Week sale had ended (since we genuinely needed some time to think about it, but had been in several times before the end of the sale to look). A wonderful experience all around!
