I have used Anna's over the years and have had several experiences in which both the cleaners and the managers were extremely rude and unprofessional.
If you are not using the service consistently, you get a variety of cleaning ladies - I have caught some napping, eating and/or skipping sections of the house. Several had no prior experience, and one woman wanted to clean the entire house with glass plus.
When there are issues to be resolved, the managers are immediately defensive.
In my latest encounter, I booked the cleaning service and the rate was not explained to me. As I had used the service before, I assumed that the rate was the same as the last time.
When I left the wrong amount for them, they phoned me. Rather than simply explaining that their had been a misunderstanding, apologizing for not being clear and discussing what could be done to resolve the problem, the owner lectured me for several minutes while I was at work. She accused me of "purposely" leaving less than what was owed and claimed that her staff NEVER make mistakes, rather than giving me the benefit of the doubt.
Every time I tried to explain, she interruped me with more lecture and accusation. As I was at work and it was very uncomfortable for me, I eventually hung up.
She called back and indicated that she was yanking the cleaner out of the house, never to return, and she couldn't believe how I had treated her.
