I called Alexanian’s to book have our basement carports cleaned and the runners on the stairs cleaned. when the cleaner showed, he tried to up sell us on a deep clean. If we didn’t sign up for the deep clean then he couldn’t guarantee that stains would come out.

We were not told this when the initial call was placed. Otherwise we probably would have went with another company. The fact that they leave it up to the cleaner to up sell at the time when he arrives is misleading.

We did not go for the up sell and explained to the cleaner (none of this was his fault) that it would have been nice to have been told this while on the phone dying booking. He said they use to tell customers this but do not anymore.

The results of the clean were not good and we were left with areas that remained stained/discoloured.

Advice, ask questions about the deep clean and the up sell if you choose to use this company. We will not use them again.

We went to all big box and several specialized flooring stores in London, Ont. to look for hardwood floor for our living room. We decided to buy it from the Alexanian Carpet & Flooring because of their excellent flooring selection and pricing but mainly thanks to their sales associate, Crystal. During our first visit to the store, Crystal gave us so much information and education about hardwood floors, which helped significantly in making our decision. We were impressed with her willingness to share that knowledge and time with us, without any guarantees that we're going to buy anything. (We just came to look, as we did everywhere else.)
When we reduced our selection to three floors, Crystal gave us those three sample boards to take home and see which one we would like the best. After almost a week of deliberation, we decided on the beautiful Signature Hickory Homestead engineered hardwood, which not only looked great but was also on sale at the time. After visiting us to take all the measurements in our living room, Crystal e-mailed us a detailed pre-order summary, with a breakdown of the cost for every piece of the material and labour. We realized the overall price was a bit more than we originally planned but decided to go with the full order anyway.
A couple of weeks later, the floor was delivered and installed. We certainly didn't regret our decision, including a little luxury for two wooden, custom stained flush mount vents that Crystal suggested. (Due to the added cost, we were very indecisive about these, but when the floor got installed, we realized what difference these vents made for the overall look of the space.)
There was some issue with the installation (floor creaking in one small area of the room); however, this was handled very promptly and efficiently by Crystal and her manager, Tyson. Tyson came out to check the area and we were so happy to learn that the issue was much smaller than we thought. (It was just to do with the nailing of one of the quarter rounds.) He brought one of the installers back, who fixed this in a matter of minutes.
In the end, we were delighted with this purchase. We would most certainly recommend the London Alexanian store (and especially Crystal, whom we dealt with) to anyone looking to do any flooring work, even if they (like us) don't know much about it beforehand.

We dealt with Garo. He was a pleasure to work with. He was able to help our pick out the perfect floor for our renovation. A box came in damaged to the store. Garo made of aware of it and dealt with it without us having an issue. Great experience!

We found that fibres were easily pulling out of our expensive area rug. Talked to Tyson at Alexanians. The manufacturer said we had it too long (we had it for 9 months, but it had been in Alexanians stock before that), so they wouldn't honour the warranty. It turned out that the carpet backing was NOT glued, so the fibres were not staying in properly.

Tyson (Sherwood Forest Mall store manager) stepped in and replaced the carpet at Alexanians expense.

From dealing with Val, at the Burlington store, to the installation of the vinyl floor and stair carpeting it was a great experience. Val was very knowledgeable and gave us a great price. The two installation crews arrived on time, were very professional and did an excellent job. We are very happy with the end result.

Alexanians recently replaced the carpets in our house. We were very impressed with the quality of the carpet that Sam Khani, Store Manager directed us to. Sam gave us lots of info and space to look around without any pressure. The installers were very professional and took care and attention to make sure we were happy with the job they were doing. Alexanians also installed a red oak wood floor in our living/dining room. Unfortunately, we were less than impressed with the finished product. Sam immediately came to view the installation and quality of the hardwood floor, and agreed with us. Sam told us that he would take care of making it right, but that we would have to be patient while he went through all the necessary steps. It took a lot longer than we thought it should, but all throughout this time Sam was supportive and continued to promise us he would do whatever it took to make us happy. Sam did not disappoint us and showed us how important customer care is to Alexanians. He had the entire floor replaced and we are very happy with the final product. Sincere thanks to Sam and Mike Ghazarian, VP of Operations at Alexanians for your care and attention to customers. We highly recommend Alexanians!

I chose Alexanian because I had been pleased with the quality of their work in the past. On this occasion, I dealt with Roland at the store on Industrial Avenue in Ottawa. The challenge was to cut, bind and install carpeting in such a way that it would fit a room with many nooks and angles. Roland took careful measurements, and arrived at a solution that fit the room perfectly and was within my price range. The carpet was installed to my complete satisfaction. I would not hesitate to recommend Roland, and Alexanian, for their expertise, attention to detail and customer service.

I especially appreciated Krystal’s design sense and attention to detail when I was considering new carpet in my sun room. The subsequent service and installation process was timely and customer-focused. I’m very pleased!

We were looking for new flooring at many retailers including box stores; Alexanian in St. Catharines had the perfect product. Sales associate Adrian cheerfully showed us several snap-together floating floors possibilities. He was excited about the Pergo Extreme ‘Barber’ which is a heavy 7mm waterproof vinyl product which is installed over solid bases, such as linoleum. The marble looking 18” x 36” pieces are so real in appearance, both my wife and I said ‘this is it!’. The product was ordered and in the store within one week. Real friendly, well informed people at Alexanian Carpet & Flooring, St. Kitts.

My wife I and came across Alexanian though HomeStarts and after reading some very positivie reviews, we decided to check out the store. We were greeted by Frank and he took care of us from beg to end. Our situation was a bit more complicated because we wanted to wait for other repairs outside of our control before installing the new floor. Frank was always very considerate and willing to do the best for us. We had a last minute change in the project and once again Frank took care of everything.

Hakan and his installation crew did an amazing job and finished the work in two days.

We are completely satified with Frank/Hakan from Alexanian and will definetely recommend them and re-use them in the future.
