Alexanian Carpet & Flooring

DO NOT BUY FLOORS FROM ALEXANIAN. The struggles we went though buying these floors from Alexanian carpet and flooring. They sold us defective wood floors with different plank sizes. No one wanted to install these floors because of the millwork. Unfortunately Alexanian didn't want to help us and pretty much told us we just had to deal with what we had. After spending about $8000 dollars with this reputable company. Our renovations were set back by about 3 mnths. There was nothing we could do, speaking to even the VP Mike and one of the owners of Alexanian, Allan, was such a disappointment. Horrible company to deal with. Both Alexanian and the floor manufacturer Preverco where so cheap and did not care about their customer service or reputation at all. We are so shocked this company allowed this to happen but we have warned all our family friends and clients about both these companies.

We were replacing rugs upstairs and basement and laminate flooring on part of the main floor. The whole experience was positive from beginning to end. From the moment we entered the store and were greeted to having everything installed for us. Their attention to detail is fantastic. A no pressure sell from our Salesman, Zoran, who really knows his 'stuff'. The installers who were meticulous in their work. Would highly recommend anyone to go there. Very, Very happy with everything.

This is the second time we have dealt with Alexanian Carpet and Flooring, with Val Alkhani as our sales consultant. The first time we purchased porcelain tiles for our kitchen, which still look great. A few months ago we wanted to replace all the carpeting on our second level of our home. We shopped around and felt that Val provided us with an excellent quality at a very competitive price, and we couldn't be more pleased. They were able to install it quickly and the installers were very professional and courteous. We highly recommend Val for his knowledge and superior customer service.

Nancy Schikor was amazing in helping me choose flooring for my recently renovated bathroom as well as coordinating every thing else in the room. The end result is wonderful and I love everything about it. Nancy has a real talent when it comes to home design and I have used her help on numerous occasions and every time I have been thrilled with her work. I have used other home decorators but no one can compare to Nancy. I look forward to working with Nancy in the future as I won't make any major decisions without her expertise. Nancy is the Best!!

As a designer and customer, I require and appreciate a one stop flooring and window treatment design centre. Alexanians allows me to be creative and provides many quality products, knowledgeable staff, excellent workmanship and follow up service. I have specified several are rugs, with quality and selection. My current project is a Bathroom renovation using 12x24" porcelain tiles, just beautiful. Thanks Alexanians!

My husband and I have purchased from Alexanian's since the mid '80's. Our purchases have ranged from small area rugs to wall to wall broadloom for the various homes we've lived in and now to much larger custom rugs and hardwood for our new condo. Every single time, our association with this established respected company has been a positive experience -whether it involves their cleaning staff, sales staff or installers. Their prices can't be topped nor their attention to detail. We would never shop anywhere else!!

A very good friend referred us to Val Alkhani for our carpet needs. Val came to our apartment and measured and suggested a carpet that met our needs based on high traffic areas. Time was of the essence because our daughter's wedding was coming up and we wanted the job completed before the wedding. It was a holiday down in the States and Val went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the carpet was installed before the big event. The carpet installers arrived two days before the wedding first thing in the morning. They were finished by noon and were EXTREMELY professional. Once the under padding was laid and the carpet came out, off came their shoes. It was a seamless job and the place looks amazing. Thanks to Val and his installation team.

My wife and I visited Alexanian Carpets in Burlington where we spoke with Val Alkhani about an area rug for our condominium living room. Val quizzed us on our requirements and together we determined that none of the stock pieces were suitable. He showed us broadloom samples and offered to custom cut and trim to suit; we took a few samples home, chose our favorite and Val had it tailored in under a week.

We soon followed up with the purchase of a foyer rug.

We heartily recommend Val; he's very knowledgeable and truly cares about client satisfaction.

Garo Magakian manager & son David Sales Representative through their combined expertise guided us to purchase Bamboo to acccomplish the results we were looking for. The installation of the flooring was taken on by Jerret, Chris, Peter & two others. We experienced a few setbacks by the unique properties of the bamboo but all were all were set to rest by the patience, and experience of all involved. My wife and i are very satisfied with all aspects of the job

Both Val & Ken at Alexanians in Burlington were great to deal with. They gave excellent advice and were very accommodating. (We picked up our materials as needed) We finished 900 sq. ft. of our basement a year ago. The product we chose was Mannington Luxury Vinyl Planking and Luxury Vinyl Tile for the bathroom. We used the blue underlayment. There was a bit of a learning curve when it came to installation but with some guidance my wife and I completed the installation ourselves. (Not bad for a couple of retirees.) We are extremely pleased with the results. Not only does it look good, it has effectively sealed off the concrete floor. It is warm and free from the humidity we felt in our last three homes. It is both waterproof and more importantly grandchild proof. We highly recommend both the products and Alexanians in Burlington.
