A technician came three weeks ago to treat my house for carpenter ants (using interior bait / exterior spray). So far there has been no improvement -- in fact, they have become much worse. I feel that they did not adequately communicate the process or warn me re the time-frame. The lady answering the phone today said it takes 4-6 weeks to work and that an increase in ants is normal. The technician I spoke to today said it takes 3 months. Although I spoke to the technician at length when booking the job, nobody warned me that I would have to put up with an increase in ants for such a lengthy period. They have agreed to come back next week to do the interior spray. I hope it works because it was not a cheap service. In the meantime, this has been very stressful for me.

When speaking with you originally, we determined that bait interior, spray exterior approach would be the best coarse of action for eliminating these carpenter ants. When you called yesterday, our staff gave you an inconsistent timeline with respect to how long it would take to get back to the queen. I do apologize for that, unfortunately, baiting does take time to get back to the respective queen, however, based on our conversation this afternoon you are seeing some dead ants and that is a great start. The good news is that you have a full one year guarantee and have already scheduled a follow up visit for Monday.
