On the hottest day of the year, the air conditioner just stops working, no warning. Had only used it for about 3 months in total. Called and left a message, about 10 minutes later got a call, said he was too busy today, that they would come by tomorrow. I also purchased a new furnace from them, spent over $10,000.00 and the salesman told me that they were the only ones that offer a free 10 year parts and labour warranty. To my surprise I got an invoice asking me to pay or I would lose my warranty. When I call them about it, they said you should have read it on the paper work. There is also a pending lawsuit in which I have not informed them as of yet. Last year when I just purchased this house, A1 was on-site fixing a gas leak, during my home inspection. They charged the owner of the house over $400.00 for repairs, I saw the technician testing the furnace, we got a report from the sellers real-estate agent saying the furnace and the gas leak has been repaired. This gas leak was discovered by my home inspector. It was my agent that informed the sellers agent about the leak. We just happen to be there at the time for a re inspection of another issue. Anyhow, since we got the report back from the agent saying the furnace and the gas leak has been repaired, we purchased the house. 2 Days later we moved in, the furnace was blowing like crazy, I thought it was because the furnace was fixed, but after spending the first night, we had severe headaches, including my 2 young children who were 2 and 4 years old at the time. I could still smell gas, I called A1 back to the house since they were the ones that supposedly fix the gas leaks and the furnace. Well not only did they not fix the furnace, the carbon monoxide levels were so high that the technician had to shut the gas and the furnace off until the heat exchanger was replaced! It was still cold out, April 1st. So my family was put at risk by this company, by the real estate company, all because everyone was only interested making a profit of us, and to top it off, I was charged a $110.00 service call! I have all the supporting documentation to prove just how low people can go. Beware of this company!
