A1 Air Conditioning & Heating

We called this company to inspect our ac unit. We knew the collant was empty and told this to the girl on the phone. She said a tech would come out and check the unit , perform a pressure test to tell us where the leak was and how much it would cost to repair. When the tech arrived , he told us that we were out of coolant and that it would cost an ADDTIONAL $295 for the pressure test. He also stated that to repair the unit would be " around $1000 - $1500 ". If we already told them that it was empty of collant , why wouldn't the girl on the phone tell us the truth about the test ? I was contacted the next day by an A1 rep that said the girl would not have mis lead us. BULL !!! This company is a rip off. Oh yea . The rep on the phone did say that he would refund us the $113 if we purchased a new ac unit from them. Problem is they were just over $1000 more than the compeditors. Thanks for the deal A1. Stay away from this company unless you have money to burn or have the need to be ripped off !!
