Reliable Dryer Vent

Chimney cap works, but installation wasn't clean. They used a hammer to knock off the old cap, didn't cleanly level the cut. Every day I drive home I see the horrible installation. After spending top dollar on real estate, the last thing you want is a terrible looking chimney. Worse, I had a mortar repair expert come by for an unrelated task and the first thing he asked was about that chimney cap. I felt ashamed to know it was so obvious and also, that this was forming the first opinion with trades regarding the quality of work I am willing to accept. Let them clean your chimney, but if this is indicative of the work they do for the cap work, I say pass. Gladly upgrade if they fix.
