I booked by phone approximately 1 week prior and received email confirming time and date (Fri with 1:30-3:30 window). Received a call on Thu advising they had a truck available that day and was I interested - declined, said I would stick with original time and date.
Friday I received call @ 1:29 saying they were tied up at another job and couldn't show up until 6 or 7 that evening. I said that would put us into darkness and asked they change it to next day (Sat). They said I would be contacted by a mgr to confirm. No call came and I called them and they didn't appear to be aware first pick-up had been missed and agreed to rebook for 10am Sat. I wasn't impressed to say the least and felt I was looking at a very 'iffy' situation for Sat. Next day received a call at 9:30am advising they were on their way and subsequently arrived on time at 10.
Two cheerful young gents, Craig & Lucas, introduced themselves, reviewed the material to be removed, went over the pricing and started to work. This involved a number of large, heavy pieces of furniture and appliances that had to be maneuvered through tight confines of a basement location and hand carried up a steep slope with slippery footing. They did this without complaint, taking care to avoid damaging walls and doors. Job was done in a little over an hour, they cleaned up the site and asked if they was anymore to be done. Price was as quoted and I was more than happy with their performance after a somewhat shaky start. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the company or use them again.
