In December 2015 I purchased a Novatech Garden door from Brock Doors and Windows. The door was determined to be defective by a Brock representative and a Novatech representative and was replaced in March 2016. The replacement door was also defective. The replacement door was confirmed to be defective on 4 separate site visits by 2 Brock Doors and Windows representatives and 2 Novatech representatives. After countless emails and phone calls Brock Doors and Windows manager Randy Sibald informed me that there was nothing they were willing to do to repair or replace the door. A July 2016 written request for a refund was ignored. I brought the matter before the Ontario Small Claims Court (SC-16-00009588-0000). Brock Doors and Windows chose to ignore the Plaintiffs Claim and were found in default by the Ontario Small Claims Court judge. Brock Doors and windows was issued an "Endorsement Record/ Order of the Court" (April 10,2017) requiring that they pay the issued judgement. They have ignored the request for payment of the Order of the Court.
This company left me with a door that they determined to be defective, denied my requests to have the situation remedied, and has now ignored a Ontario Court Order to make payment.
