We used Alarm Force for the past 6 years with relatively problem free service and ran into a snag not too long ago. The alarm would randomly get triggered resulting in a call from Alarm Force while we were at work. Obviously, this became problematic as we could not be sure if there was an invader in our house or if the alarm was malfunctioning again. Upon contacting Alarm Force, they said tech support would get back to us. A call came 3 days later and an appointment was booked. On the day of the appointment, my husband and I were both at home but the technician failed to show up. After several follow up calls, it became clear to us that Alarm Force was not interested in resolving our problem. In the end, we were with out reliable service for 3 weeks and we decided to look elsewhere for a security system. Upon requesting a refund for the 3 weeks, I was told they would provide a refund only if we remained customers. Pretty much - even though we didn't receive the service we were paying for- we are not entitled to a refund. Not only that, they charged us for the following month as well. Just today, after being assured we would not get charged for the technician who didn't show up, we got a bill for " missing our appointment". Needless to say, we are looking for an another security service provider and would not recommend Alarm Force to anyone.
