Cushions were extremely hard - had to have them re-done. The price was astronomical compared to buying new furniture. Over $8000 for 4 pieces, We got taken in.
- Company Response
As made known in prior commentary directed to customers who experience feelings of regret after placing an order with us, The Master Craftsman has never claimed to offer the lowest prices in the industry. We do however stand by our pricing structure which reflects the quality of our service. When compared to the prices of low quality new disposable furniture, complete restoration may seem expensive initially, but invariably proves to be the most economical route. It must be noted that when a restoration job is undertaken by The Master Craftsman, we strip the upholstered piece of all stuffing and fabric. Often, the materials we replace the old with are of a quality far superior to the previous. Additionally, it has been our experience that the high density, "hard" foam that many of our customers insist on initially for health reasons, can take some getting used to. The foam you selected from our many samples was no doubt the foam you received, yet we kindly replaced it with softer foam - free of charge - after you changed your mind.
