Ordered the roof in August 2017 with installation for end of December 2017, When we checked on the installation date Hy Grade could not find the order. The order was not entered because they let a sales rep go and our order and deposit was lost. We had to reorder the roof and new install date was April 2018, the new order was placed in January 2018 along with our deposit . For the roof to be installed earlier we had to strip the roof and put ice and water down. Even after that had been completed it still took 10 days before the roof was installed. Hy Grade took no responsibility or no effort to try and install the roof quicker , they left us with the feeling that they did not care about our order, and that we were a bother. For this reason I will not recommend your company.

Hi Mr. Robb,

Thank you for sharing your review with us. We do however feel that in this extenuating circumstance we were adequately accommodating to you, the representative and the homeowner’s needs. You were originally working with one of our Roofing Consultants who, for reasons beyond our control, did depart before a contract was complete. When we were made aware of the situation we took the job in-house. As this home was fire-damaged, it did require extra work, one of those things being stripping the roof to begin new. We advised that it would be best not to strip the roof during the winter months. You then let us know that you would take care of this first step on your end so that we could proceed with the job sooner. A new quote with a detailed scope of work was provided in December but a contract was not able to be signed by you until January. Following this in early February we did attempt delivery on two occasions. Due to delays on your end the delivery was re-scheduled for the end of February. After another delay on your end, installation commenced in early March and was completed a few days later. We do feel that we made as many accommodations as manageable to ensure your satisfaction and are surprised to hear of your discontent. We were in contact with the Homeowners frequently during this process and received pleasant feedback during these times. If you do have any remaining concerns, we’d be happy to address these with you. Please feel free to contact our Head Office during regular operating hours.
