For us as first home buyer, not knowing what to expect, ask, he went through all the info and details which we needed to know. Caught the electrical issue which the previous inspector missed. Thank you so much Yujji for the kind words and review! That was certainly an interesting home inspection! I think that I threw your realtor a curve ball on that one. First, the home inspector that was used before me should have picked up on all the knob and tube wiring, but for the same inspector to come back a second time to confirm if there is any knob and tube wiring only to miss it a second time is simply amazing! I mean 30% of the home was knob and tube! Oh well, I doubt he will be in business much longer. All the best to him. Anyways, at least now we all know that there is knob and tube wiring in the home. (I also found it amusing that your realtor took pictures of the knob and tube wiring and is going to send it to the inspector!)Maybe he should take some switch covers off next time.
