I contacted Century aluminum based on the home stars reviews. I submitted an online request and was contacted by Gary within a day. He came to my house and reviewed all of my eavestrofts and downspouts and we determined that they all needed a full replacement. We also discussed rerouting some of our downspouts because they were creating problems with my foundation at the corners of my house. Gary was incredibly efficient, and good with communication. I received emails drawings and a summary of the work prior to the work beginning. The team showed up on time and completed the work in about two days. The team headed by Trevor was excellent friendly and very knowledgable about what they were doing and also very clean. They asked me to come check the work before they left and we discussed quick solutions so that I was 100% satisfied. The billing took about a week and Gary came out himself to review the work and I found that just dealing with century aluminum was easy. I would highly recommend this company .

I chose this company to repair peeling brick by my back patio door based on the Home Star reviews and that they were local. I know nothing about this type of repair so couldn't honestly tell if the quote made sense or how good the work was. I was blown away over the entire process. Brittany was extremely responsive and answered all questions and had quotes delivered fast. Daniel who came to review my issue found many other issues to be addressed ( failing brick) so we added that into the quote as it made sense. The 2 brick and mortar specialists, Greg and Elijah were absolutely top notch. Greg did the entire red brick replacement and was meticulous. He then rebuilt my patio steps and regraded it so water damage would not occur again. My patio step down is like brand new. Elijah did all the tuck pointing - 20 spots or so - and it is amazing how good the replacement mortar looks. In all I am super pleased with the work done. It took about 3 days of afternoons. Greg and Elijah were so nice and easy to work with and so detail oriented. I highly recommend Great Wall masonry for any brickwork repair! I contacted Miranda upon a recommendation from a former client in our neighbourhood in regards to our patio door. We had a major leak in our basement stemming from our old door. I was so pleased with the speed and efficiency of both Tony and Ivan the installer, I proceeded to have Miranda quote on replacing all of my windows. I also did a comparison quote from Brock. The quote they gave was within range of Brock as bother offered more or less the same deal. Brock was on the more expensive side, but not by much. I chose Miranda because Tony was willing and assured me that he would work with my existing custom blinds that were in all of my windows. I did not receive that same confirmation from Brock. This was a savings to me of about $4000-$5000. Secondly, how both Tony and Ivan handled my installation of my patio door spoke volumes of their work ethic and how they handle customers. The windows were delayed a bit from the manufacturer, so it was about 3-4 weeks later than anticipated - but nothing that to me was out of the oridinary. The installation took 2 days to complete. Ivan and Chris were clean, courteous, and if you look inside Ivan's truck you will see that he is a bit of a neat freak. They were on time every day, solved every small problem that arose with stride. I have no expectation of perfection but I got pretty close to it. Tony was very patient with me and handled all my follow ups with care and concern. We had a few hiccups as well - the trim that was ordered 3rd party came in the wrong size - of which Ivan had to go back and again and have remade. Ivan then rescheduled as soon as the replacement trim was ready and installed within a few hours. During that time of course we had painted all our new trim and begun installing the blinds. We had 3 blinds that we could not get to fit back in their windows. I called Tony and he had Ivan fix the issue that same day..( we removed the plastic hubs at the ends of the blinds and they fit after that). During that time I also ran into an issue with the screen door on the patio door they replaced in December. Tony also had Ivan look at it and Ivan had resolved the issue the following day. overall I am extremely pleased with how my concerns were addressed, how well they presented themselves and how well they worked with my family. I have a bulldog at which many service people can be scared of, but it was of no concern to Miranda. They cleaned up after themselves - vacuuming the bedrooms, garage and all work area's. Miranda's ability to problem solve put us at ease so no matter what the issue was, I didn't feel like I was going to be stuck with the problem. It is comforting to be able to say"we have someone for that". After recommending Richard to a neighbour with a broken A/C on labour day, ours finally kicked the biscuit. We have had Richard come out previously to fix the A/C who always brought it back to life. So there was no doubt based on past experience to use him again, Richard came out promptly, jump started the A/C to get us through the heat wave and left us with a recommended new system. I decided to replace it all as out furnace was the same age. The day of installation was one week after ordering. Richard, as always was prompt, professional, and installed our new system in about 5 hours. He took the time to show me the old system so I could visually see how bad a state it was and that I had made the right choice, he then spent another hour walking me through the new system, the new touch screen thermostat, how to activate our rebates ad outlined everything in a simplistic and easy to follow manner. We already have our Lennox rebate. The installation areas were clean and neat, no mess left behind. I had some follow up questions which were answered immediately. Our overall experience with Core Temp was fantastic and I hope this review will help persuade any doubters to choose Core Temp as their HVAC provider.

this is the second time we have used this company. Our air conditioner needs to be replaced soon. It is just a loud, obnoxious inefficient hunk of junk. However it needs to last a few more years. Richard has come out in a jiffy and corrected the issues we found with it. Never upsells us, and constantly tells us that there is life in the unit still. He also showed us simple fixes to stop it from being so loud. The first service call was to repair a leak and add more coolant. That was barely $200. Richard is extremely reasonable and a general nice guy. We will use him for any future business, including when we need to buy a new unit.
