We had a *fantastic* experience all around from first contact via email to the final delivery and installation. Steven is a professional in all aspects of his business and treated this project as if we were the only one on the go (clearly not the case but his personal involvement made us feel that way). We reached out to several contractors for estimates on the work and Steven was by-far the most responsive and helpful. Steven was on-time throughout the process including the initial consultation, follow-up visit to finalize measurements, removal of the existing mantel and finally the delivery and installation. During the initial consultation and measurement visits he was very helpful in finalizing what we had in-mind including how to setup the electronics efficiently which was one of our goals. He hit the deadline we requested with a few days to spare and charged exactly what we agreed to previously. We cannot say enough about the finished product - the workmanship is exceptional. High quality woods and hardware were used and the finishing process that Steven employs results in a stunning look that is both beautiful and durable. We would not hesitate to use Steven and Black Forest Woodworking again in the future and would gladly recommend their services.
