I would keep away from this (NOT) Plumber!!!! Adam was hired to plumb a kitchen renovation. During the estimating and then rough-in phase I walked him through the sink locations and made it very clear that he was to place the pipes coming in through the cabinet far back into an adequate cavity provided for this purpose. I returned home to find that he had ignored my request and put the pipe right in the middle of the cabinet. Only at my insistence did he move the pipes to where I'd indicated. He 'jerry rigged' a waste disposal unit instead of telling me he was missing some original parts. Later I saw evidence of a leak under the sink so I monitored it for a couple of weeks by placing a red towel under the sinks. I discovered a substantial leak from the waste disposal (see photo). He had used an improper clamp which had come away from the discharge pipe. Adam insists that neither informing me of the missing parts nor making any attempt to source out the correct plumbing parts are part of his responsibility. He tells me he 'didn't get anywhere' with the Manufacturer and yet when I called them, they provided all the required information to obtain the parts. Eventually, his solution to the problem was to BLOCK a customer from further communication. Update as of 24-Aug-2023: Building inspector failed both kitchen sink installations for not meeting code.

Technician's name: Zoric! I asked this company if they repaired German appliances - the answer was yes. I paid $90 for the service call and was quoted $2,100 for parts and installation. Something didn't feel right so I went directly to the manufacturer and the cost came to $1,100. There was only a portion of the board that needed to be replaced and not the entire board as this guy was claiming. When I tried to communicate with him that he'd taken $90 and did not have an accurate diagnosis - there was nothing but finger pointing. In hindsight he couldn't have an accurate diagnosis since he didn't do ANY trouble shooting. Save yourselves $90 and go directly to Miele! This company was NOT a certified Miele repairman.

I hired MMR on 2 separate occasions. The first time they were hired to assemble and install IKEA Cabinets in a Basement Kitchen. This required some building out of a knee wall to accommodate a plumbing and a deeper countertop. They also installed approx. 10 doors and all trim i.e. door casings and baseboards. The second project was contributing to a Basement Steam Room. They installed the exhaust to the outside, installed green and concrete board, augmented existing framing in preparation of tiling and installed required insulation on exterior wall. I found Jon and his crew to be professional and respectful. They are organized and come prepared to complete the job at hand. They also do a great job of cleaning up after themselves. I look forward to bringing them back in to complete the trim refresh project for the rest of the house later this year.

Had a home security system installed in Dec. 2013. In June 2014 the key pad is DEAD DEAD DEAD! Called in for service and they called me back more than 72 hrs. later to schedule a technician to come out. Technician would not be there for another 3 days! Kind of defeats the purpose of a home security system don't you think? Talking to their CSRs is like talking to a ROBOT typically found in a call centre. No problem solving ability at all - ZERO! Will move to another company at renewal time.

They accepted my order with a $2,150 deposit on April 26th. The awning was supposed to be delivered 2 weeks later. Week before the May 24 weekend I called to inquire. I was told it was being assembled and would be scheduled for installation the following week. I finally heard from them June 11th wanting to deliver a week later. They should've been up front that it would take 2 MONTHS and NOT 2 weeks. Quick on the sale but short on delivery? Hopefully it'll be the right awning.

What could this company do to improve their services?
Be up front with the schedule. Most customers understand a custom product takes time but they should not be misled. Keep customer informed of timeline if it's going to be missed.
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
Get the details of the schedule in writing. Look at other distributors.
