Sam Cerundolo of Canada Glass and Mirror replaced three shower door hinges and gaskets at house. The work was done well and on time. The appointment time was kept and they were within the estimated cost.
We used Islington to landscape our new home and they did a beautiful job. The issues came after the fact - we have several cedars that have died after 6 months and they have not called us back to replace or discuss the matter. They may not have been planted by them correctly.
They have a beautiful and great selection. I tried to get some things on sale as we have a dog and don't need to invest in carpets for a shorter life span. Service was very good.

fixtures for kitchen & bathrooms
We bought almost everything at Taps and I cant tell you how many times I had to go back to pick things up and replace parts missing. The sale person was helpful but not as attentive and he was just swamped. So many things were back ordered it became a pain.
We bought all our fixtures, and lights for our new house and they have a great selection in their showroom. The saleswoman was very efficient and helpful. They also have a reasonable return policy.
We heard about them through our designer and they did a fantastic job. Yair was the salesman and he was great to deal with - very helpful in designing everything. The installation also went well. There was a cabinet that needed to be fixed after the fact and they came right away.
We went to the showroom to pick our product and found the products to be very good. We did a major purchase and some complicated spaces and windows to install and it all went well. Some of the screens didn't match but they came right away to replace them. The installation was on time and the team were tidy.
Nick did our complete home / build from start to finish over 15 months. It was a new process for us, and he and his company made the project a lot less stressful. We ended up with a beautiful home. Nick was very responsive and when issues and stressful situations came up he was always there to manage through them. There were no major surprises throughout the year plus. We ended up getting into the house before Christmas which was a bonus. Any of the delays were due to weather and approvals from the city. Most of his trades were good and reliable - which is unusual. And Nick managed them very well.
Design interior of entire house
Karen was wonderful to work with. Very experienced and knowledgeable as well as responsive. When we had an issue she was always there. She has gone through the whole design build process herself so she knew what to look for. Karen had an excellent eye for design and detail - and having seen her other projects they are not cookie cutter. She brings a unique approach to each client. She for example designed all the cabinetry for us and added some really interesting accents. We didn't go with all her recommendations but that was fine with her. The kitchen design again was something she took over from the architect as she added a better orientation.
From a pure design standpoint Brad was great. We wanted a separate space for our family room, away from the kitchen for privacy and maximize the views on the property. He was very innovative in his layout and he listened to what we wanted through the process. The only negative was that he didn't follow through as much as we had hoped through the whole process. After the plans were approved we didn't see him on the job as much as we expected. The plans were right to code and we had no issues getting them approved with the city.
I purchased a second hand computer from a friend which had to be installed and set up with my software. My Blue Umbrella came and installed it with a wireless network. Service was great and the cost was not exhorbitant.
