The owner Jorge did a wonderful job of making sure I got everything I asked for. Jorge and his staff were also very friendly and easy to work with. After researching more than 10 different companies, both top rated or unrated, high- and low-end, Higher Grounds granite offered the most competitive pricing for this quality of work. The work was beautifully done and Jorge went out of this way to find me the perfect slab. There are slightly cheaper places, but the quality of the work would've been much different since these companies were using prefabricated slabs. Higher Grounds does each job to your specifications and customizations, so you get the perfect product in the end. I highly recommend Higher Grounds Granite & Marble and in fact I have already set up a second contract with Jorge for my relatives. He has done great work and I expect no less from him in the future. Job Specifics: The counter top for my kitchen was an awkward shape with a round breakfast bar area, but Jorge made the effort to find the perfect sized slab to do the job right. His company was the only one who made the effort to find a large enough slab for me, and the only company that had the precision tools to cut and shape the slab beautifully for a cost that was much more reasonable than most. You can easily find companies that offer a cheap quote, but the add-ons usually end up costing you more in the end. Higher Grounds Granite & Marble offered me the best price for a product that one would have expected from a company asking for 20-30% more.
