We've had Brian do work for us before, so we were happy to have him come and paint the walls and ceiling of the entryway, upper and lower halls, and stairs in the house we are preparing to sell. It's a complicated situation, as the walls are textured, and there is a lot of dark natural wood that needed to be protected, and the ceiling above the stairs is at an angle. Brian and his assistant completed the whole job in a day, with careful protection of the woodwork. It looks great! The "flavour" of off-white he selected is just what we were looking for - bright enough to offset the darkness of the wood, but soft enough to feel welcoming and not industrial like pure white. We look forward to working with him again soon!

I scheduled White Shark months in advance to come clean our eaves in late November. The time came and went and they simply never showed up. The day after it snowed and froze (~ December 8?) they called and said they couldn't do it due to weather, and they'd come in the spring. They offered no apology, no discount, just acted like that was normal business. Our gutters spent the winter full of leaves and twigs, not draining properly. Found a new eaves cleaner this year who was terrific! (Brian at Enlighten Contracting)

Brian was terrific to work with - he was very professional, knew his stuff, and was just pleasant and interesting. Very easy to communicate with, both in person and via quick response email. Our trees drop their leaves late so I was worried about scheduling, but Brian worked with me to make sure he saved us a flexible spot to make sure it happened. He did the jobs requested, and also pointed out a few issues I hadn't noticed (a cracked foundation seal and a gutter leak) and suggested remedies. Not soliciting additional business, just being helpful! He also did some extra related special requests, like attempting to unstick a long-ago painted over window that has never opened, and removing an unwanted permanent screen, and patching a small gutter hole.
