After reading other reviews on Home Stars, I contacted this company for help with our lawn. Because it is the end of the season, they are not taking on new clients however, Dina spent some time with me on the phone discussing our lawn and its problem. She took the time to share her knowledge and expertise to guide me for a healthier lawn now and in the future. I have continued to correspond with her via email as I had more questions and she has continued to happily help. Customer service is often lacking in this world today and I can not say enough about this company. We are not their customers at this point or have even committed to hiring them for next season but that didn't seem to matter. This company is obviously just passionate about what they do and happy to share with others. They care! This is what prompted me to write this review.

I hired Brooklin Tree Care after reading reviews in Home Stars. I was not disappointed. Eric is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about trees and nature. We were in need of a major pruning to our Norway Maple. (He also did a light structural prune on our Red Maple.) Eric throughly explained what the tree needed and the processes behind it. The work was done in a timely manner and our yard was cleaned up meticulously afterwards. I look forward to seeing the difference the pruning makes once the leaves emerge. I would not hesitate to recommend this professional and caring company.

It was through reading reviews on Home Stars that I decided to hire EcoRefinishers to paint our kitchen cabinetry. EcoRefinishers certainly lived up to the numerous positive reviews and I am adding another one! Zack and his team are professional, efficient and obviously care about their work. I have nothing but praise for the job they did in our kitchen. They painted our cabinets, installed new soft close hinges and hardware. Additionally, Tabatha was timely in answering our questions and assisted us with the colour and hardware selection which was appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. Their motto, “Love your kitchen again.” is just how I feel. My honey oak cabinets are an updated white and what a difference through a very easy, simple and affordable process.
