Turnbull Masonry completed some repairs to the brickwork on our 90 year old house in the fall of 2012. We weren't sure if we'd be able to preserve the crubling brick pillars to our front porch, but Turbull repointed and replaced a few bricks and it looks great, and not noticeably different from brick on the rest of the porch! The repointing on a few spots on the rest of the house and chimney repairs look excellent, and were done on time and on budget. Ron came out to inspect the repairs after his crew was finished, and wanted to be sure we were happy. Excellent work, and excellent customer service!

A large cherry tree in our front yard split and separated by several inches near the base of the trunk and was in danger of falling on our neighbours' property. The tree is otherwise healthy. The first company we contacted stated that removing the tree was the only option, and they would not consider trying to save the tree. Al Miley & Associates (Rob Jeager) also recommended removal, but also gave us the option of cutting back half the canopy and bracing the tree to stabilize it. The crew showed up on time and completed the job in about 4 hours. The tree looks much better than I was expecting, as after cutting a lot off the top of the tree they carefully 'shaped' the remaining branches to leave a nice, rounded, natural looking canopy. They were respectful of our neighbour with a shared driveway, and only blocked the driveway for about half an hour. They also cleaned up all of the branches and debris on our lawn, driveways and street. We are very pleased with the service that we received.
